Thanks to all who had some substance to share. Your insights and experiences are helpful and appreciated. I don't really like to banter mindlessly or read others' that do so, as far as I am concerned, we can end this thread. Again, thank you.

I wonder if anyone out here knows anything about whether any (many, all) women retain their desire to be sexual after undergoing a hysterectomy? Further, how is it different (or is it?)for a woman after experiencing and surviving that unfortunate procedure.
Respectfully
MGK

What are you talking about?! First of all the population IS OUT OF CONTROL! Secondly, what is criminal about creating a television network? Especially a network that is more in- depth, resourceful, and balanced than most of the others combined. Third, what is criminal about promoting and working towards world peace? You had better check your water supply I think someone has spiked your H2O with PCP.

By the way, I was never a fan of Bill Clinton. He led the way on World/ Free (?) Trade ie; NAFTA, etc., which ended up exporting most of the U.S.'s manufacturing and later IT jobs overseas.

OK, I've done my homework. I see where Clinton seems to be 'warm' to the idea of torture according to comments made. You are going to have to help me here, though, Honda. Please show us where it is written or testified to that he ever ok'd torture. Some facts would be nice.

ttom500: For expereinced interveiwers and reporters...tehy know it is in the question. That they can get 'a answer' by how the question is phrased.

Like I siad in the other thread......Obama gets softballs and hit homers.....thing that we need to remember that this is just batting
practice for the real thing. Who you pick to start a game?

The player in practice that is hitting the hard pitches or the one that is hitting the easy ones? Even if teh easy ones are homers?

Me? I pick the one hitting the hard stuff. More real game like.

So, do you think Palin got any homers, hits, or just foul balls? Just wondering....

Indyfella: Well, that does sound like a High Crime to me....being nebulous. Let's see if he gets convicted on that.

I wonder if it should be a "crime" to be majorly responsible for giving the United States of America 8 years of, what is likely to down in history, the most squandering , corrupt, and destabilizing administration ever. An admin. that advocates torture, has gutted key aspects of the U.S. constitution. Has raised 'executive privilege' to a absurd level. Hundreds of 'Presidential Signing Statements' that say he can, in essence disregard Bills that he himself has just signed into law. Driven the economy from the largest surplus ever to the largest deficit ever. Bushies fabricated almost every fact on the run-up to the War On Iraq. Oh yeah, Karl is just a cute and cuddly little cherub indeed!

Indyfella: It's good to know there's no honor among theives... Pick your party

I don't recall Delay being convicted of anything. I'd have to check it. He was just a pain in the ass to Dems...

You are correct that Delay was never convicted, only indicted. It did lead to his decision to step down as Majority Leader however.

Indyfella: Something I've always noticed is that the Democrat Party picks a "boogie man" in the Republican party to target. Before Rove it was Tom Delay. Before Delay, it was Gingrich... The list goes on and on. Ever notice that? I've never figured out what Rove has done wrong...other than win an election or two? Rove was the "boogie man" long before the senate hearings. Seems it would be better to run on issues...

Well, Indy, it is quite hard to pin down the nebulous rove as to exactly what his contribution should be named. With your other two buddies it's not so difficult; Tom Delay, Corruption. Newt Gingrich, heavy hypocrisy - beating the drum for Clinton's impeachment at the same time he (Newt) was having an extra marital affair of his own!

Sparky55: She may not be ready to be President but she's as qualified, if not more so than Obama. At least with McCain there's a chance he'll live through his presidency and we'll never have to find out for sure. The case for Obama is much more bleak.

That almost sounds like a veiled threat. Do you know something that we don't,OR is there a huge elephant in the room!

Indyfella: Was anything found to be illegal? Also, look at some of the "shapes" of gerrymandered districts created by Democrats. It cuts both ways.

Ok Indy, gimme some specifics in YOUR gerrymandering charge from the Dem.'s I was of, course, referring to Texas.

ttom500: Attroney General of Alabama is trying to do voter fraud investigations in several AL counties that are Democrat. He has had a investigator arrested, investigations blocked, failure to forward registration signature card and application, etc.etc.etc.

This all began after the AL Presdiential primary.....where he says that there are about 6,000 fraudelent Dem registrations in each of the counties that voted. There were 5-6 counties he is investigating. Says that the fraudlent registrations are being sold to running official of both parties.

Google Alabama Voter Fraud......you should get it.
Thanx for that, ttom. I did take note of your statement that this situation applies to BOTH parties...
As part of this delicate balancing act of bad/vs/bad let's take note of old Tom Delay's inventive Senate re-districting plan from a couple of years ago...

Great article jbibiza! Thanks for bringing it to our attention. In these days of such short attention spans and fast-food news bites, Sarah Palin is the Republicans wet dream. A woman with such a brief history of accomplishment is like a prepped oil canvas waiting for the Karl Rovsian Election Machine (KREM) to fill in form and color. Thanks again for the reality check.

Well, I guess we can just about put an end to this thread. Thank you to those few who actually had some insights and cared to share. For the rest, who seem to just have this as an open IM chat space, I hope my question provided you with enough of a venue to show your wit and clever asides!

I realize that this is a pretty generalized question, but I do have ulterior motives in asking it. You see, I have recently (6 months ago) ended a long term relationship where lack of and quality of lovemaking was never an issue. I want to begin a new relationship that is more satisfying emotionally and psychologically AND still has a very rich sexual element to it as well. My good friend has been scaring me with comments such as "you don't want to date a woman over 50". I pretty much think this is B.S., but I really don't know for sure...Being that I am over 50, and not really wanting to get into that 'go for the young ones' mentality, I really want someone who is near my age but very affectionate and sensual/ sexual in her desires. Am I dreaming?!!! Any thoughts out there?
