I was reading some info the other day that said..

In the UK.. only 5% (!!) of the people able to give blood.. DO.

5% HOW low is that!!.. I think that's awful..


Plenty of people are happy to TAKE it when they need it for themselves or a loved one... yet aren't so forthcoming in returning the favour.

I have O RH neg blood type.. which means I can give to anyone.. but can only take my type.
7% of the UK have my blood type.

I'm a marrow (and organ) donor too



Anyway... anyone got any interesting views on all that?

Do you give blood? if not.. why not?
well i am a blood donor too and even in malta we dont get paid ,well i do it cause i know i can save a live.and thanks for reminding me i need to go to give blood next month :)
