mindfful:]tell ya the truth
im conflicted about the bailouts
in my opinion the base problem is education
chipping away at that foundation has led to a many tentacled illness that has a part in us not being an inventive attractive workforce
other countries do things differently than we do
i dunno why we are so averse to borrowing ideas that are working
japan
uk
etc
there are pieces we could be borrowing but if i get into it i get called a socialist
which in many ways i am
im sick of the million invisible kids homeless that wont eat tonight and dont attend school in the "greatest nation in the world" (quote)

Yes it is a shame. And i sympathise with what your sentiments.
However i dont think the bailouts can be attributed to a lack of education, but i agree putting the money towards it would definitely be far more beneficial.
There is something to be said of a well educated + informed societyno you are right
i went off on a tangent regarding the homeless thing
its related indirectly but i started w/ the bailouts and trailed off to one of my fave soapboxes
sorry

but the US is 34 in the developed world in education and yet thinks they are the leader of the world
that among many things is silly and shameful
but we can discuss this another time
thanks for responding
and for future reference i know im a nut already
