i dont see any problem in eating the same every day, unless you got tired to cook always the same

as a kid i liked to eat every day steak with mash potatoes or rice
but at home the cook got tired to make always the same

as for ideas

and at the same time to introduce yur son to vegies

peppers (green, red, yellow) stuffed with fish

tomatoes stuffed with fish

I dont mind cooking them - but just feel bad giving him the same things all the time - I am really happy that he does eat fish - he is the only 3 yr old I know that can tell you he prefers Seabass to Plaice!! laugh laugh laugh

My neice has a daughter who is the same way. She even took her to some sort of "Picky Eaters" club and they said she was the worst case they knew of. I will ask her if she has any tips from this group and pass it on.

Been reading back over this thread..........and I think that what I have said has been misundstood-

I am not taking it personally - I enjoy the threads and enjoy posting in them

I never said that people were being ignored as obviously as people have said

I dont want people to think that I am walking around with a huge chip on my shoulder or unable to sleep at night because of this....or that I am not willing to have fun here - becuase I am..........and some of the threads are hilarious and good fun is had........but when people begin to discuss things that no one else has a clue about (apart form those involved) it is off putting....

Anyway, I'm not very good at explaining myself so will stop here!!

Thanks for listening!
grin
I agree with you. It just seems that way. I also think people steer off the thread topics to carry on this stuff. Just seems what is said is being taken for granted. People have said that I come across as too serious and I need to lighten up. I may even be making enemies with some of this, but I guess we have the right to freedom of speech and the entitlement to our own opinions. The threads were supposed to be open, but it seems they are closing to a select few.
Yes I agree! thumbs up

if people would talk abut the topic of the thread
or they will use the chat room for those private talking between several peolle the forums would be nicer, it will be easier to folow what it is said about the topic and we could ask our 2 pennies, or just learns something new there

yes, there are people that only post in threads of specific memebers

it is about having some peoples thread on top of the list

we have some rules, and they are not meant to take our freedom but as a guidelines to achive a good quality forums

we have blogs, where we can post things for those that wants to folow all what we post, and we have the chat rooms where several people can talk at the same time

let use the forums for what they were intended and we will have a nice enviroment again

Well said...... thumbs up thumbs up thumbs up thumbs up

And I am NOT a newbie...been here for over a year now! sigh

Just to clear something up - I am not taking this personally at all.......

I was just observing over the last few days and was saying that to new people who wish to participate in the forums it may be intimidating in some ways...........I for one post only occasionally now as half the time I dont understand all the private little jokes and chats etc....but if there is a thread that is about a particular subject that I want to say something about then I post.

And yes- people jump over someones post that they dont know to reply to people that they do - I agree with u there itlmstrouble! xx

I really think you're subconscoiusly trying to feel at home again and make every newbie recognize your OLD post!

When you are at a bar with lots of friends together, at dinner home, any gathering of your friends, who you love equally, do you really reply to all what they say? Is it that bad to reply to some? In your time everybody used to reply to every post? Come on young lady, welcome back!

PS: we cook and clean the house while online!

I think u are misunderstanding what I am saying...not trying to make anyone recognise anything at all...just trying to have a disscussion

Hi Minimoo--

Rosie and I were saying the same thing the other day. It has changed on here and not for the good. I don't post as much any longer either as I feel ignored too.

LOL guess things move on.

I sure wish I could attend the party in Dublin next week. You are going to have a fantastic turnout!!

Hey thanks for your replies.....and yes I agree...bring back the good old days when there were proper disscussions and laughs and not jus little chats amongst a few people who seem to take over the threads.....

Yes....86 signed up so far...hope to arrange a proper nite in a function room before the end of the summer so hopefully u can come to that...will let u know!

People on here only seem to reply to certain members threads / comments??? Is it jus me who thinks this??? It used to be very different here a few months ago but since I have come back I have noticed this happening more and more.

I for one dont bother to post as much as each time I try it is mostly ignored....and people carry on with the disscussion and / or their own little private chats.

I am not meaning to come accross bitchy or anything, I am just merely stating how I think others who are new at posting may feel also.

grin
