I work with a 98 year old man everyday. Fortunately I can work around my childrens schedule. While my boss is sleeping, I check into cs to get my chuckle for the afternoon.yay

I found myself in a similar situation. My mother was very abusive, and I left home when I was 16. Over the years I tried to have a relationship with her. But I found she only wanted money, or something else. I finally reached the point, that I had to accept the fact that I was never going to please her. Also that she would not become the mother I had always dreamed of. And for me, I had to walk away from it. For my own sanity,self esteem, and for the sake of my own children. Just because she's my mother, didn't mean she had the right to treat me badly. It's been 8 years now. And I have friends who are family to me more than my own mother was. comfort
