I agree....If they have prosecuted others for the same things...then I guess that means they should be prosecuted as well....

Would welcome your thoughts on this.

I got a mail from guy welcoming me to Malta and asking if i needed any help with anything, as he was returning to UK for a while and i could stay at his apartment rent free. I replied thanking him but explained i had an apartment and a job and was managing ok. He wrote again asking if i needed help to find a job and i explained i had a job at a holiday resort and said which one, the next day i got another mail saying he had been to the resort but could not see me and would i like to meet up. I started to feel a little uncomfortable about him going to the resort without asking me first , my profile says i am only here for the forums, and i am starting to see someone so i did not respond to his mail.

The next day i got a mail saying how rude i was for not answering after he offered me free accomodation, and somebody with my manners deserved all the bad luck i got !!!

What do you think?????

in my 30 years I have never been in a relationship with a woman , I have never been close to gilrs, these days I feel a vacuum, which has to be filled by a lady, but confused how to approach a girl, start an interesting conversation and get it going, how to make in roads into a womans heart.........any ideas please?

I'm enuf confused now,,....I've never been on look out for a foreign woman for marriage to leave this country............the only advantage i see with them is that on any dating site profiles of american and women from the west are in abundance not many women from my couyntry are here....................

wish there are more dating sites...with more profiles of indian women....being shy/ reserved kinda guy I like to meet a girl first on such platforms and talk now them better and see ho it progresses form there.......

The moment you try to become intelligent, you cease to be intelligent. This is really important, so give your mind to it a little bit. If I am stupid and everybody tells me that I must become intelligent, what generally happens? I struggle to become intelligent, I study more, and I try to get better marks. You see, the basic problem is that of change. When you ask, "What is intelligence and how is one to become intelligent?" it implies a concept of what intelligence is, and then you try to become like that concept. Now, to have a formula, a theory or concept of what intelligence is, and to try to mould yourself according to that pattern is foolish, is it not? Whereas, if one is dull and begins to find out what dullness is without any desire to change it into something else, without saying, "I am dull, stupid, how terrible!” then one will find that in unraveling the problem there comes an intelligence freed of stupidity, and without effort.

oh like you would no. you never been there, but just like you Americans change the subject, we are not talking about Russian people we are talking about how your soldiers are murders.

This is not about any political side, or what you would consider as torture like wheather or not you agree with waterboarding. I am asking would you do, what you do consider to be torture If.... you were A" field commander, through general, or the pesident (pertaining to terrorists) or what you would consider terrorist? Lets say it was in theater, and you captured some terrorists( or suspected terrorists) lets say, during an attact. and you had reliable resourses, in which you trusted, that said that were more attacks planned on your soilders for that day. Beings that your soilders' have confidence in your ability to keep them out of harms way, whenever possible, and that they are like your own family, or are closer to you than family. would you torture any of those captured, to try and get info. to help save any of YOUR men and women, that put THEIR life on the line for you everyday.

1)OK lets say you did torture them, and got no info of any kind that was useful, and an attack never occured, how would you be perceived by your soilders, and by public opinion?

2)OK now lets say you did torture them, and got good info. and prevented 100 of your soilders from dying. How would your soilder's preceive you, and what do you think the public will say, or preceive you as?

3)OK Now lets say you didn't torture them, and no further attacks happened to your soilders. obviously your soilder's and the public would preceive you well.......

4)OK now lets say you didn't torture them, even though you trusted your sources, that there was another attack planned that day. You still didn't torture them. and an attack happened that killed 100 of your men and women. And it comes out that you had reliable info. that the (suspected terrorists) that you had in custody had info. that would of saved 100 of your men and women. How would your fellow soilder's preceive you, and would they ever trust you again. because their lives rely on YOUR judgements, and how would the country's public preceive you?
Well Obviously hind sight is 20/20 and it is easy for us to sit in our houses safe and sound, over a thousand miles away, after the facts have come out and place blame and cast judgements, If you put yourself in THEIR shoes at that time what would you have chose... Then lets say You were the President and that scenerio happened here... .... Would you handle the situation differently? If it could be your freinds, neighbors, or son, or daughter that might be at risk because of where they lived or worked...... Then how would your family, freinds, and the general public preceive you in each of the situations?

I don't expect anyone to really anwser every question, it's just something to think about, because it is possible and it is amazing how people will judge the same thing differently all depending on the outcome.
I would just like your thoughts, I just don't feel most people have actually thought about it in a realistic standpoint in our country and I would love the whole nation to consider this Reality before casting judgements...

Me, personally I can't judge anyone for either anwser, and in all honesty I have no idea what I would do, I would love to say if put in that situation, I would NEVER torture anyone, but I don't know if that would be the truth.. WHAT SAY YOU...... I thought about this when watching the all the presidental debates earlier this year, and I just remembered about what question I wanted to send in, but I didn't have a computer....... Sorry for the novel ya.
