Of course wine is also good for you!

They both help you forget where you're supposed to be!

They both help you 'recover' from a broken heart!

They both help you seem 'charming and irrestible' to that lovely lady in the dark corner of the bar!

They both help you get over the shock when you wake up in the morning and discover she has a moustache, hairy legs and enough armpit hair to make a toupee manufacturer smile with glee!

Sorry - I was only joking, ladies... I'm sure you all look gorgeous sober; I just don't to take the risk of being wrong!

Of course we look gorgeous when we're sober! wink

And of course alcohol is good for you!

I have it on good authority that it can even save your life: say you're stranden on a desert island and can only have one of the following types of drink to sustain you, which would keep you alive the longest?

- water
- orange juice
- milk
- beer

Yup - beer!

(Of course, this was explained by a brewery company... hm).

here's to you

Cute yes. However you had to be very careful as they had no reverse gear and only one door at the front. So if you absent mindedly drove it into your garage right up to the back wall you were well and truly goosed,no way out and no backing out. Wonder how many drivers died waiting for help.

I beg to differ.

Norwegians take sand paper to the desert, because taking toilet paper makes no sense. There are no toilets in the desert, so sandpaper is the nearest thing they can think about. At least it is some form of paper, and sand is abundant in the desert.

Again they take a car door to remind them that travelling by car is so much more comfortable than than travelling on a camel's back or walking on the sand.

You sink a Danish submarine by pulling the plug from under it.

You sink a Norwegian submarine in the same way, but being already submerged, the would'nt notice!!!

I see your point.

As a fellow Scandinavian, I am privvy to this kind of info, don't you know...

1) Do you know why Norwegians always bring sand paper with them when they travel in the desert?

2) Do you know why Norwegians always bring a car door with them when they travel in the desert?

3) How do you sink a Danish submarine?

4) How do you sink a Norwegian submarine?

dancing

1) They need it as a map.

2) They want to be able to roll the window down when it gets too hot.

3) You knock on the hatch, and they will open.

4) You knock on the hatch, whereby they open a port hole, exclaiming "We're not as stupid as the Danes!".

But seriously - I have nothing but respect for the Norwegians and the Danes. Really! wave
