I believe we all know in our hearts who our real friends are if any. Though we use the word lightly,friend,we usually don't consider everyone we use the word to describe as a real friend.
Real friends stand by you,they find the time for you when another says there is no time right now.A friend cares and feels almost the same pain in the heart that you do when something negative happens and you are hurt.Real friends don't drift away and use the excuse,I just got busy or we are to far apart. I believe real friendship takes time to aquire btween 2 people. Once you have it,it is there always. I have 2 friends. I had 3 others through the yrs. that all passed away at young ages. the 2 I have now I cherish. There are others who say they are my friends but I call them aquiantances.

always sad to hear of someone who was active and seemed to be healthy passing away.This is 3 famous people this week and 1 I knew,an aquintance and the boyfriend of a e-mail friend he was 46. This is upsetting to the phyche. I wasn't close with any of them but I feel very down,not like myself after hearing of each of the deaths.
1 thing about Billy Mays,his items really did work.Many scam artist do commercials knowingly trying to get your money for a product that is not as advertised. B. Mays had many of his items tested on different shows and all passed with flying colors.

When I first got a comp.,I lived online. When I got on CS,qst dating site,I lived in the forums. I know exactly what you mean.I gave up doing much of what I should do to be on here. Time goes so fast when on here too. I was addicted,but in time I lost the fascination with having it and started doing more have toos and some want toos. Took me about 4 months to get where I did not wake up and switch on pc. Think it happens to many of us.

It was my child and at first yes if I could have got close physically in proximity to the men who did it, I could have shot them in my anger and hate. I felt it strongly for days. Being a Christian I asked God to forgive my human urges to get justice for my son. Suprised myself,but I after a fe weeks,decided to have the courts do thier thing. It wouldn't make me a better mother if I killed any of them. Teaching my son the opposite of what I always taught him?? I toiled with fantasies of these men being torturted. However I went to the trials,stayed involved as possible in investigations,2 found guilty. I went to thier parole hearings and stated I was againist parole and why. After about a year,ashamed it took that long,but anyway I finally forgave them in my heart to God. Not that they should be excude and set free but I felt a load lifted when I dropped the hate I carried all that time.

I believe Heaven and Hell are where we go when we die after a sleep until the rapture happens. Some to heaven some to hell,it will be for eternity.This life we have on earth is just a journey. My Christian opinion.

Interesting thread. No actual name calling? Seems this type of thread always ends up in battle of wits,or dimwits.

My 3 cents,Jesus is the son of God,sits at the left of God in heaven. In Christianity Jesus is only way to eternal life,prayers answered,etc. You must accept Jesus died on the cross for your sins so you could be saved.When you acknowledge that,you are a Christian.

To those who believe otherwise . To each his/her own belief. I love all people,even those who may not like me or what I say.

I was not aware that Quran believed in or thought of Jesus as prophet. I have not read much on this religion and will to educate myself only. Not to look to converting.

To those whose fathers are no longer with you, .I dread the day I get the call.

I hope those who have a dad still alive who deserves it,will think of those who wish thier father was still here and remember to tell your father what he means to you. My dad is 83,still healthy and active. He lives in a state far from me. I am still his Daddy's girl at 54. I write him a poem each holiday and email it to him. I gave up the store gifts when I was about 22. Started doing things like,his laundry or a dinner out my treat. Wrote a tribute to him and it hangs in his home office.So many gifts we can give and they don't all cost $. I only wish I could have through the yrs. bought my dad a sailboat. He always wanted 1 but never bought for himself. I never have been in a position to have done that,but that is 1 that $ can buy that would be thoughtful and appreciated.

!st let me start by telling you that I experienced as a mother the feelings that happen when your child is molested. It is as upsetting(lack of better word) as it is when you them from your life,unfortunatly that happened also. So I know the anger,shock,rage,symathy,protective mode,etc. that goes in to play when you first hear that it happened. Then the nightmares,therapy for child,in my case,me too. Okay just to let you know I do not sympathise with this man or any human,sick or not.

If it is looked at from a point of law,the prosecutors in many cases know they are not going to get a conviction. If they go for a charge that would be considered fair,like life and lose,the offender walks totally free,not banded as a child molester. So hard as it is at times,if the DA feels there is any chance of finding the offender guilty,putting a life long child molester tag on him,they at times will go for a much less plea,because better that then nothing at all.The judge follows the prosecutors suggestion very often.He ?she knows the prosecutor knows much more about the case then he/she does and follows recommendation. I was not a part of this whole horrific case. I was not there,but have read all possible about the case from a legal standpoint.

Yes it is unjust,I have found the entire legal system to be unjust many times. Why the blindfold?She is embarressed to be holding the scales that stand for fairness.

So if it makes anyone feel any better who believes in revenge,people who go to prison for child molestation get molested usually gang style in prison. Often guards look the other way. Many are killed within months after being in prison by another inmate. So he didn't get off so free.I feel it is sick,and many times when I am informed of such acts. He deserves much more,But as I said,is this not better than a total walk free card?
He (if) he makes it out of prison will have people to deal with on the outside. Not advocating vigilantes,but it happens.

Then it is sad for you. Your chances of meeting the right person for you for years to come is slim.
Your right strongest survive. Has nothing to do with looks. However you feel you must be right, and have seen enough thread posts of people who feel they know what all humans feel and think. I don't personally care what your opinion and I am not into the cut down replies or meaningless argueing posts that go on and on. So hope you can someday see the beauty on the inside of a woman you meet and if day comes you have to,hope you survive.
