You lack even the basic skills of a 3rd grader. You are not able to write one decent sentence in ENGLISH. Being a Native American is not an excuse, the State of Texas is nice enough to provide free education.

The info about Texas are simply facts- Google Rand Study on Education. I didn't say all Texans are poorly educated or stupid, on the other hand this person who doesn't need to be handed a line that Texas guys are any more special than those from other states. She's paying money to come here and might as well know the truth. We are pretty much like everyone else - and in a couple of areas somewhat below the rest of the country.

I live on the ocean and at least try to make things better-serving on the school board and helping kids improve their scores. We have one of the better school districts, however many of our children can not communicate effectively.

If I had to generalize Texas men are somewhat less literate and educated than the national average. Although approximately 85% of the rest of the country disliked Bush, he's ok here and came back here to live.

Many think its sport to shoot defenseless animals and put some of the their body parts on their walls.

Texas has a higher rate of smokers than the rest of the country.

Otherwise many Texans are just like normal people.

Beware of those who have nothing to brag about except being a "Native Born Texan" something they had little to do with as it shows they have little real accomplishments to be proud of.

Here is a serious response to Lady Farmer and Somechick's concerns and its probably out of place on a dating message board.

People who keep finding losers lack self-esteem. I see it in both criminal and family law. They don't think they are worthy of a decent guy and would not ask out a professional well-adjusted person.

The solution to this Lady Farmer and Somechick is probably to have some counseling with a professional- much better than posting on a free forum. This doesn't mean you're a bad person or crazy, however a good professional well help you point out exactly how your negative feelings about yourself translate into bad choices.

People who lack self-esteem are not at fault for having those feelings. They may be educated, honest etc but because of events in their past almost always caused by others, their inner self worth is at a low level. I suffer from this in a mild sense and have had to work thorough it. My parents died when I was young and I was pretty much dumped from place to place until I ended up in a reform school. It doesn't matter that I have 3 graduate degress, won famous cases and am financially successful - feeling low self-esteem in internal. It often results in odd behavior. I pick up and bring home any orphaned animal - including 5-6 baby possums over the last 9 years- rabbits dogs a duck, whatever or whoever needs a home. I also have anger at authority. Oddly being a parent ( albeit a single one to two great kids both of whom are well known and admired in our community) has helped my self-identity.

Somechick and Lady Farmer - you can't fix this yourself. Anyway this is too serious a response- you'll probably blow it off and whine and bitch when it happens next time.

You have a lot of nerve talking about dumb guys. In the 3rd grade you should have learned basic grammar. Ever hear that a subject and verb need to agree? Did the dumb guys MESS it up? Your is possession - you're mean you are! For example because YOUR parents didn't bother insuring that you received an education YOU'RE functionally illiterate! No one is perfect but you've calling other posters dumb twice in your post. This is the poorest excuse for English I've seen in a long time.
I promise my 9 year-old can read and write much better. Take some adult education classes.

When I get emails from someone who is not compatible I will still answer if they seem nice. Its not that hard to be friendly, maybe they have something interesting to say. if all you can think about is dating then go out and actually meet people - stores -supermarkets and restaurants. I'm doing a case now where a father has never seen his child after birth and is threatening the mom that if she doesn't terminate his rights at her expense he will start visiting just to upset her. She came to me to do the Relinquishment form, but instead I'm doing a contempt and he's going to jail ... at his expense ( in Texas if you lose a Motion for Enforcement and Contempt you pay the attorney's fees of BOTH sides). He hasn't paid support for other kids with other moms- but surprise I'm going to get them to file a case too!



On the other hand To think they can't is as sexist as saying a woman can't do management job or can't be president.

I've been and am a single parent- Its fun and I don't whine about it. My 16 yr old already is pretty famous in our area and my little girl is smart and sweet.
