A new survey of top foreign policy experts finds little support for President Bush's policy in Iraq. Foreign Policy magazine and the Center for American Progress polled more than 100 people — including former White House officials, former secretaries of state, a retired CIA director, Republicans and Democrats — and the results are dim. Most say the U.S. is not winning the war on terror.

Yeah I've been used as a "TOOL" against other guys a few times. I wouldn't mind it if I knew before hand so I could at least relax and enjoy the ride.

Yep, that's the plan, we may not like it but as I said earlier we have no other options thanks to this president who squandered our treasure and our brave men and women who fought & died for no other purpose but to avenge the honor of his father.

So keep up the good work of putting fear into the masses so they'll follow this president to invade another country.

This has been an interesting thread, it gave me a chance to think about a lot of things but I've said about all I'm going to say on the subject and I just hope that cooler heads will prevail and we can open up a meaningful dialogue with Iran when the new president takes over.

Don't think for 1 minute that the leadership of Iran is a bunch of brain washed suicide bombers who can't wait to die for Allah. This brand of generalization has led to wrong headed decisions many times in the past like "Russians are too backward to ever develop an atomic bomb", Guess what?.....BOOM! Or "Russians are decades away from being able to launch an artificial satelite" Guess what?.......BEEP.....BEEP....BEEP!

The Iranians want to live just as much as we do and they want to keep selling us crude oil and driving their Mercedes & Porsches.

Try looking at recent world events from THEIR perspective.
They were in a 9 year long war with Iraq, America supports Iraq (because of 1 religeous zealot, Khomenie, holding Americans hostage for almost a year) with arms shipped through Pakastan.
Their major ally the USSR crumbles, leaving America as the worlds only super power. Saddam invades Kuwait, AMERICA INVADES IRAQ. Another religeous zealot, Bin Laden launches a terrorist attack on America, AMERICA INVADES AFGANISTAN. The American government invents a bunch of lies about WMD's and AMERICA INVADES IRAQ. President Bush introduced the concept of an "axis of evil" comprising Iraq, Iran and North Korea.
Are you starting to see a pattern here? Don't you think that Iran is aware of their vulnerability to being invaded by America?

The lie machine is already hard at work and some people are buying it hook line & sinker. I bought the lie about WMD's but "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me."

Is Iran enriching Uramium solely for electric power? I doubt it.
Is Iran enriching Uramium to produce nuclear weapons? Absolutely!
So what!
They are doing this so they can protect themselves through the concept of MAD because it's the ONLY way they can be guaranteed not to be invaded by America.
They are afraid, and let me tell you there is nothing more dangerous than a person who is afraid for their life.
