She mentioned that she really liked Palin for her same strong belief of the "right to life" issue. This woman went on to explain how cruel the termination of an undeveloped fetus was - that an undeveloped fetus is seen sucking it's thumbs early on........ and that it is a conscious alive human being. She also suggested that studies showed that women who terminated pregnancy after rape were so much more emotionally disturbed for life than if they birthed the child...
She and her husband both hunt deer and game.
My question to her was ; How can any person , Christian or not , believe that's it just fine to blow the heart out of a wild animnal and watch it squeel in agony - just for sport, and at the same time be so dead set that a human fetus is so incredibly sacred that it's life should never be taken ????
And, I went on further to ask her if her own daughter was raped , would she demand she kept the child ??
She answered - GOD in the bible tells us that he put animals on this earth for us to take for food !!!
What a F____cking cop-out that BS is !! Unbelievable stubborne crap ! " Hiding behind the Bible " !!
She also said she would demand her daughter keep a child created by rape ...................................
You know my feelings on this ............What about YOU ? How do you feel ?????
First, the right to choose or right to live, depending on how you want to look at it. In my opinion, I guess it depends on personal preference and life or death. In the case of rape, if I had a daughter in that position, I would support her if she didn't want the child.
In the case of life and death, I'd go for the abortion to save the mothers life. If far enough along, we do have the technology to help a premature child.
Now onto the issue of
it just fine to blow the heart out of a wild animnal and watch it squeel in agony - just for sportI'll admit that I am a deer hunter,
not a sport hunter. I hunt to put food on the table and it is a fact that venison is a whole lot healthier for you than beef. Venison has less fat than beef. When I shoot a deer, my first thought is to make my shot count so that animal doesn't suffer any more than is necessary. To tell the truth, I have never heard a deer squeal in agony after being shot.
Only once have I had to do any real tracking for a deer due to a misplaced shot. I was hunting from a tree stand and after that one time, I stick to the ground. It took three hours of tracking before finding that deer.
I know of instances where some people would shoot a deer and not bother searching after 15-20 minutes if they don't find it. These are the idiots who give us decent hunters a bad name. If I can't make a good shot, I don't take it.
