NAIL IN THE FENCE

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper.

His Father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost
his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.

The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence.

Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number
of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down.

He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those
nails into the fence.

Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all.
He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now
pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper.

The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father
that all the nails were gone.
The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence.
He said, "You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the
fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger,
they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and
draw it out It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound
is still there. " A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one.

Friends are very rare jewels, indeed.
They make you smile and encourage you to succeed.
They lend an ear, they share words of praise and they always want to
open their hearts to us.

YOU (CS people) ARE MY FRIENDS AND I AM HONORED!

Please forgive me if I have ever left a hole.

Wow...Loved itsmitten

A different slant on an old question!!

Some men appear "well hung" when flaccid...but don't grow much when it's needed

Others don't show much...but proves way more than adequate when needed.

So which do you prefer...the aesthetics of a big one or the functionality of a big one. Does the size when flaccid matter??

Yes...I watch too much porn

Considering August is usually a very warm (ie..hot) month, would an evening get-to-gether be in consideration? Perhaps 4pm until, that way folks who needed to travel back home that night could leave say 9-10pm to get back home safely.

Course some are expecting to stay and they could easily do that. I've threatened Earl he has to be well enough for the trip or I'm tieing him on the hood of the truck like a deer and bringing him anyway. We'll stay in touch and let you know if we can make it.

Kansan sent me your address and per Google maps, we are about 4 hours & 38 min. away...that is without tickle breaks which at my age I'll need a few of those ...so I'm figuring a safe 5 hour drive

Thanks for the info...I was out mowing the grass and just got in the house for a few minutes

Come one, come all! We're planning a CS meet & greet in the Knoxville, Tn. area for Mid-August.

Things are tentative right now, but we're thinking about a picnic/campout style get together on the banks of the beautiful Clinch River just outside Knoxville, Tn.

The more folks who are interested - the easier and quicker the details will work themselves out.

The tentative date is Saturday, August 16th, 2008.

If anyone is interested please let us know by responding to this thread and/or sending myself or Jackson an e-mail.

Sure think this would be tons of fun for everyone and we'd like to have as many folks here as possible!

Has a time been suggested yet or are we going to vote on it as a group?

want to save? get a moped... although they are embarrassing and i will never personally drive one, in aus they only cost $10 bucks to fill up and my bro (who drives his a lot) uses a tank once every 4 days. Plus I don't know about the US but in Aus you can have any type of license to drive these... even a tractor hahah

In some states they have to be registered and require a motorcycle license.

Here in NC, they are not required to be registered or have a license of any kind to operate. Kind of gives the drunks a way around the laws if the lose their license due to DWI. Ticks me off as I have to register my canoe if I want to place an electric trolling motor on it.very mad

At the moment I'm saving gas by not driving due to being laid up. Hoping the surgery will be real soon so I can get back to normal asapgrin

What gets me are the women who send an email saying they find me interesting after reading my profile and want to get to know me better.

Comon now, if they had read the profile, they would've seen the words "We are happily married"

I tend to put these people on block
