I am not sure if this is the right category for this but got no response, other than one welcome to the site, from my previous message under 'introduce yourself'

Hi, I have been commuting between Ayamonte on the west of Spain and Villamartin on the Costa Blanca and it looks like I am going to be moving there for a few months, possibly permanently. I would like to meet people male and female for friendship and company and help in getting to know the area , what social clubs, events there are, what to do etc.
I will be there initially for a couple of weeks from this Friday 23rd May so if anyone fancies meeting for a coffee, drink etc please let me know.
Either send me a private message or I look forward to replies on here.

It is nice to hear a man of a 'certain age' give your answer to Q2!
I mean, I look at the pictures of some of these guys and think... get real! This website is called 'connectingsingles' I think some are mistaking it for 'fulfill your wildest dreams'
Anyway that is just the cynic in me...... maybe after a few months they will lower the limbo pole!!

As for Q3, I am disappointed in you, no Bridget Jones's?
And you obviously havent heard they are the latest thing or you would be begging me for my phone number!!rolling on the floor laughing

I thought I would start a fun thread on this topic, please feel free to add your own questions or replies which might throw some light on the matter.
I will start with 3 questions.

1] Why do 50 year old men say they are looking for 25- 40 year old women?
2] Do they actually get interest form younger women that is anything other than materialistic?
3] Do men also have huge 'Bridget Jones' undies for when they are not out to impress?

Hello all, I am new-ish on here and this is my first post.
I am looking for something more than just lying on the beach all day, maybe a bit of exploring,discovering new cultures or beautiful locations, a mini adventure but nothing too adventurous for a 40 something lady!. Somewhere condusive to meeting and mixing with others rather than keeping to oneself.
