I think you answered the question yourself.
Pucks was right, it was over when it started.

Maybe you should change your pic, that way you won't get the droolers :)

urban.

9th floor of a 9 floor highrise.
5 minutes walk to grocery store, drug store, shopping and restaurants.
10 minute bike ride or bus ride to work.
I spent a year looking for a place exactly like this.

Not exactly the scenario you posted but it does deal with infidelity and friends, its a story I'll never forget.

I was sharing a large house with a couple of guys and one day this guy knocks on the door "Hi, you don't know me, my name is Bob and I live with Mary (an ex that stole my heart, still the one I measure all others by today)". I was wondering if you could come live with us, I work out of town 2 to 3 weeks a month and I don't feel its safe leaving her alone."

I'm beside myself, I figure its a joke. I invite him in for a beer so I can sit him down and look into his eyes and ask him to repeat himself.
The guy is serious. I talk to Mary and she is also serious. Okay, I go for it. It becomes pretty obvious what its all about. Bob has a different girl in every town he stays in. I end up meeting a few of them.

Now, heres the dilema, do I tell Mary? And how can I tell her without it sounding like I want to make things bad for them so I can have her back. By the way, that would never happen, I broke it off with her for an absolutely unforgivable transgression.

What would you do in that circumstance?

She did eventually figure it out for herself, she had to, I never did tell her.

Names changed to protect the guilty and innocent.

Sonja Smits, Victor Garber, Jeff Healey, Daniel Lanois and others.
I work in theatre so I get to meet lots of people.

Jeff Healey, don't get him drinking.

Sonja Smits, we had a drink at the pub next door, I asked, "why not go out with the other cool actors", she says, "oh honey, they are either full of sh!t or full of themselves or both".

Victor Garber, what an incredibly decent man. We have a gala once a year to raise money for the theatre which, as most do, operate as not for profit. We supply plane fare, accomodations and 10 seats for family. The first thing he did upon arrival was to write a cheque for the full value of all of those things. Two weeks later a letter arrived "those doors at the front of the building are old, they seem to leak air and must cost a fortune in heating bills, get them fixed." There was a cheque for $25,000 included.

Daniel Lanois, he did this amazing set and there was a sound in one of the tunes that I'd never heard before. I was nervous as hell but I had to know how it was done so I got up the courage and asked him after the set. He took me up on stage, showed me the equipment, how it was hooked up, some other technical stuff and then said "give it a try". You wouldn't expect the man that produced The Joshua Tree to be so humble, but I don't think I've ever met someone so much so.

Intelligent - Shawshank.
Heart tugging - Green Mile.
Both are very excellent films.
Both about looking back and saying "Damn...why did I do that"

Well, its easy to kick butt when you can put on a pair of sunglasses and see exactly who all the bad guys are eh? Too bad the pentagon didn't invest some of the billions it has to develop those for the poor buggers that are fighting in iraq.
