I agree with you in what you say, But I also belive there is a lot more now going on that is hurting us and is causing all the difficulties we all are in.

The cost of oil, government spending, greed in the top levels. the average citizen now is having a hard time making ends meet. some just cant do it. The cost of gas to just get back and forth to work is taking a lot of the wages, that at one time was used to buy food, and pay for heat, Now that has all gone up too so you dont have as much as you once did to pay for these things.
and what you do have left, wont buy as much, so what is being consumed is down, so production has to go down, (layoffs) plants closing. Loss of jobs, means loss of more money, then it circles around again, and more out of work, even less money going into the economy. This has been happening for a while now. Yet people are now asking if we are going into a resession? What is resession folks? And what comes next? Depression? How much are people willing to go thru before they really will do something to help them selves, and each other? This country is supose to be run by it's people, not the rich who want to get richer at our expence, But it is going to take one very loud voice to get the message across!
Think about this, to even get into the rulers race you have to have a lot of money! When have you ever heard of a regular Joe being president? And when have you ever met a rich man that did ot want to get richer, or have more power?
