I would do a whole lot of research on the school.

Find out if they have grants or scholarships, or try to locate other sources of money to pay for this. Do they have any work/study programs?

And, ask the school about their internships. Sometimes an internship can turn into a real job after you complete school.
Ah yes! Internship. That helps. Everything can be financed, although, it is going to be hell going there. I already know, because of living expenses and such, but I am the kind of person who has to be put into a hard situation to make the most of it, otherwise if I sit here in this city, I will get nothing done. I need to be away from everyone and faced with the possibility of not making it back home unless I succeed. I just want to hear more positive things, I have all the negative. Thanks Highplains, I am flying in May with my mom to check out the school for the campus tour. They reimburse up to $400.00 if you attend that following year.

go to the school.. and get your foot in the door.. and show them what your made of .

and remember your always a webcam away
laugh Thanks. I do know someone who had a brother who went, and insisted that I go there, although their brother isn't doing what he went there for. He went for production like for concerts and such, with lighting, but now is successful working with graphic design. Now sure how he did that, if he went to another school for it or not, but lives in the same city as the school Full Sail, which is Orlando (Winter Park, but it is a suburb of Orlando).

Would like to, although I hate the sun, and I worked so hard getting my skin as light as it is. Trust me, the Filipino part of me can kick in at any moment and singe my skin to the darkest of the dark. Then it might look a little silly for me to wear black all the time. laugh As tight as I like to wear my clothing, you might think I have a deformed body and running around in the nude.

i know nothing about this school.. but i do know that you need this..

i have faith that you can do this.
Thanks. I don't care to be wealthy from just going to a school, although I just ask that I can get the training, experience, and possibly the "assistance" needed to get my foot in the door. I noticed the guy who made Saw II (The same Person from the first?) got a deal from Dimension after Saw II hit #1 in the box office with a 10 million dollar a movie contract. Plus a co-producer from the show LOST also came from Full Sail. As I said before, I don't care to be rich, just able to support myself so when my mom leaves this world, she will know that she raised me well enough to know that I will be ok. That's all.

Okay, some of you won't even care to read this, or even offer input, but I will just say, I would be forever grateful for anything anyone has to say on this. I will try and sum it up as best as possible. Ready? Okay.

I can do quite a bit of things in the "Art" department I guess. I am not the best, but good enough I suppose. Been told I can write very well, been told I can produce music well (I do on my computer), I can draw well, I could be a comedian. Blah blah blah.... Here's where my question comes in.

I been looking at schools, hearing both negative and positive things about one particular school I had my eye on. FULL SAIL. I am growing a fear, as I will be far away from family and friends, living off of student loans and grants. I know it is expensive, although it is the equivalent of going to a 4 year college. I just know I can't last at a 4 year college, while trying to hold down a job and my lifestyle. I been thinking about attending for Film School there. So if anyone knows anything of this school, or anyone who attended, who can share, please let me know.

I just don't want to waste any more time than I already have, and I am at the point where I am ready to sink or swim. Time to get a career and support myself without roomates and such. You all know what I am getting at. Any posts, no matter how silly or whatever will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I might rent that movie tonight and I am very serious.
laugh I haven't seen the third, although I liked the idea, I hope they stop making them. There are only so many you can make before you say "Okay, I think they get it now". But life is like that, there are hints that can let you win all the time, if you knew how to read them, although it is nearly impossible to follow those signs all the time. There are signs that are given though, when gut instinct is not enough sometimes. Hope you enjoy the movie.

I agree. I think you are a smart young man when it comes to matters of the heart.
Thank you, that is because I am not like a lot of people (Which I am not sure yet if that is a good or bad thing). I just been raised to ponder all that I experience for it all has a meaning and a purpose. I can sense when things are going to have to be paid for later, and usually what to expect. I know it is just a movie, but if you ever watch final destination, life is like that. There are things you can sense, and if you know what to look out for, there are things that can be prevented. Or you can even see what is to come from the future, by paying attention to the signs that are sent to you. I know it sounds silly, but it is a truth of mine. Although one cannot master this, it is atleast nice to know there are ways of experiencing such.

I think it is great! But I find it creepy. It would be cool if she started beat boxing. I bet she gets some wicked dreams (I meant that in a good way). I hope she fully recovers and can tell all that she dreamed of and experienced when she was in that state, that if she does dream. I bet she does. Yeah. Probably.

I thought it depended on what hole you used confused

Anyways, here is my silly thoughts

Love - caring if you satisfy your partner
Sex - only in it for the "F***" of it (No pun intended.... ppfftt yeah right. That's genius!)

In all fairness, I believe it is like a kiss. Whatever is put behind it, through intention and such, results in how it is given. Obviously, you can't be making love to a waitress in the freezer whom you just met 35 minutes ago, after finishing up a meal. So there you go.

from what I have been told by my ex?

I am a jerk
funny
good looking
sweet sometimes
honest
yet selfish (Yes, I love a lot of alone time if the one I am with does not share the same interests. I ponder a lot, and need to be constantly doing things I have interest in or love, because I will get depressed and frustrated)

Plus I can easily get jealous and will be quick to fight, especially if guy friends try to make me jealous, I have been known to "assist" a few dentists in their profession.

A very wise woman said the first line of this to me. It was not meant in this context but as I thought of my own babies, this came to my mind.

Dear Mom...

Am I not
Simply a mirror that reflects back to you?
Don't like what you see or the things that I do?
Stop trying to change me. Focus on you.
My young mind will soon follow suit.
yeah, perhaps

I am new to this whole online scene. I am finding myself almost willing to settle for someone less than I want. I really am having a hard time and wondering if people in the 38+ catagory have the same feelings??? Please be honest
Just want you to please not settle. I am still battling a love that I can't give up yet, and that is with my ex. At times, it seems we are just right for eachother, although I been down that road many of times and it lead to heartache, with suicidal tendencies. She gets tired of waiting around for me, and I can't be with her because I am leaving to Florida. The truth is, when I met her, I really wanted a pretty girlfriend, and didn't think it all through. Please don't ever settle for anything less than what you expect. Perhaps when you meet people who want you, it triggers your desire to test you. Maybe to see if you are really worth what your deepest desire is. Or maybe your deepest desire is not realistic. WHo knows. But please take the time to put more thought into it. Love is a lifetime commitment.

Ok guys, the subject has probably been done a million and one times but I would like some opinions.Do you think its possible to fall for someone without ever meeting them? (Please explain how you came about your answer).
No. I believe that if you can fall in love without meeting someone, you have not met them. Therefore you do not know them. You have to meet to know someone. If not, then you have fell in love with a false person, you loved the idea, and not the person. Love is not false. Therefore, this is more of an infatuation, that pleases the mind, in some aspect that this person is perfect, because you know not of their real flaws. When you are in love, you love the person as a whole, for what and who they are. You cannot see this online, for many reasons. How can you love someone for richer or for poorer, when you have no experienced thick and thin with them? I rest my case.

Check this out, you got questions do a search for AllaboutGod daut Kham (had to beat the system). Plus, you see all these planets and no other life. Earth was no accident. IT was designed for life. Some of you all just take this all for granted.

I just don't believe cause as far as god is concerned, we're the only living being's in the universe and I don't agree with that! I truly believe in the "Big Bang" theory!
How funny. Even with the Big Bang theory, it is proven that The Big Bang could be recorded at Zero Sound, and if you look in the bible, the earth was created by the Voice of God. Which Voices are Sound. grin
