Keep in mind that when you put yourself out there, there are pros and cons to it all.

Online, there are decent people who hope to find something worthwhile. On the other hand you have those who abuse the power of being many miles away behind a screen and become whoever they want to be.

You kind of have to work for it too. Nothing comes just out of the blue. So you are going to have to get past the bad to find the good. Besides, some philosophers believe that bad is the absence of good. Therefore maybe it is just absent in those failed attempts, and you must find where good is abundant. Things worth having is worth while. Sometimes it is not just the destination, but sometimes the ride getting there that is more pleasant and means much more.

Decided to be a little more active on here in hopes to make new friends. I am more comfortable with traveling now and have future plans to leave California........ or not..... I haven't decided 100% yet.

Anyways, I am Faustino. I will come in time to time and see how everyone is doing and provide the best advice as I can for those hopeless romantics out there. I really enjoy helping others with advice as well as entertain others with laughs. Don't worry, I am always successful. LOL Alright, well it's good to see there are a lot more members than when I used to be very active on here and I guess I will talk with you all soon. Or as soon as you make yourself known I suppose.

What is love? Baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me, no more. LOL

Love means many different things to everyone. I like the way the Bible describes love.

*******************************************************
LOVE 1 Corinthians 13

1If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

******************************************************

Regardless if you believe, you have to admit, that is pretty darn sweet and seems almost inarguable.

WHAT?! LOL no cellphone? Awe, that's ok then. Nice guys do like when a woman they are interested in shows interest. I know I would be happier and feel more appreciated if a woman were to approach me and initiate things. That way I don't feel so easily disposed if worst comes to worst with something silly. You have no idea how many people pick and choose through a slew of men just because they can.

I do not entertain these types of women, which is why I am still single. LOL I do not want to stupify myself just to "hope" I get somewhere with someone whom I probably will get annoyed with because mentally, they are not on par with me. You know?

This happens because there is no real guarantee. I have worked in several places that promised incentives, and didn't give much to anything because of business being slow. So my work and efforts only got me a pat on the back. People want to just get paid more, because if they get a pay cut, then they leave if they don't like it. Versus incentives (which is like a company allowing them to put the blame on you if you don't make enough) where you have to work harder for smaller things. Most people just want a paycheck anyways.

Let's face it, we all know there is money to be made out there. Those who will work hard for that extra money is the people who go door to door. Those who try to sell you cologne in the parking lot. Now compare those number of people to those who "play it safe" in a company that already gives you a somewhat decent pay, with a steady increase pending on your seniority.

Then again, I am not much of a business man. I would like to just think I have good ideas for business. I just try to get in the minds of how others think and how they can justify their actions.

Well.... Hmmmm.... That must be hard then. They say availability is key though. Sounds like the right places. I am not sure how friendly your area is, but it doesn't hurt being alone sometimes in a very social area. Sometimes that helps. Usually when women go solo, they are always on their cell phones and it makes it hard for a decent man with manners to approach them, out of fear of being rude. Usually that is how women or young women these days end up with rude jerks. Because they do not have manners. LOL

Hmm... sorry. Just that I see that idea a lot around, and I really don't find it funny. However, I do enjoy a lot of humor... just certain things don't strike me as funny.

That I can understand (I shall make note that some things can be offending to others). Although on the other hand, nobody will agree upon and or feel exactly the same about the same things. I bet even God himself treats others differently, as they are individuals and have their own purposes in life that are given differently. Not that He loves anyone more than the other, but He most certainly favors, as some are blessed more than others.

With this in mind, I believe it is okay to joke around with things. As in my opinion (which no one can change) no religion is greater than another, no sin for that matter, and no good deed. You can understand what I see. Religious is okay, fanaticism causes problems. I see people target homosexuals, but this is the influence and doing of man. I think sometimes people hear God, but they put themselves behind it and sometimes misconstrue the purpose.

For instance, it is good to love all, but God hates sin. If (let's just say) homosexuality is truly a sin, then people go and hate on the homosexuals because it is easier to see the sinner, then the actual sin. A man murders someone. They do not see "his name" the man who committed a murder. They see "The Murderer".

So that is why I disagree with some hardcore Christians (Or should I say "The Church-goers"), as they cannot define what is human. Targeting specifics such as homosexuality is just plain retarded. Why not target fast food for the gluttons? Shops that sell posters for Idolatry? Because they put man's own influence behind it, meaning their "Hate".

I just had to get that out there, and I apologize to the others for the thread jacking.

Honestly, I am not for extremes. Though if I had to chose between fat and skinny, I would go for skinny. If a skinny girl puts on more weight, which keeps her from fat, but has some meat on her, then I would be more content with that. I just like a girl with a nice figure and some meat. Heck, I would even date a girl with muscles.

Yeah... someone here is definately anti-religious. I get that you feel that way about this topic, like it's a religious witch hunt. However, I can't appreciate the idea that a few nuts define an entire group of people. This isn't true of religious people any more than it is of gun owners or car owners who drink. So while you are welcome to your generalizations based on extremists I'll kindly not partake of the same. Have a nice day, and I hope someone does something nice for you (they'd probably be religious).

Actually you are wrong. I am religious, but by religious I am not a fanatic. I admit that I do possess my own ideals. However by religious, do you mean believe in God? Of course I do. In fact I am a born again Christian. Do I agree with other Christians? No. Although whatever other people do is of no concern of mine, unless it is my own children (that I will own day have... hopefully) and I am trying to protect them. Because as a man, I would be responsible for my own household.

Try to take a joke and laugh at things, you will live longer, I promise you.

Yes, in this case, you must give more detail.

By philosophical ideal, whatever is bad affects a society in a negative sense. Whatever benefits is considered good. Bad is also looked at as the absence of good.

I suppose being someone who is giving can get out of hand when they are taken advantage of. Then when they refuse to be who they were, others look at them as being bad, because they hold them to that expectation. I guess when someone is tired of doing good and wants to focus more on themselves or be vindictive in some sense?

This is the best answer I can give based upon your question.

Well you appear to be a very beautiful woman. I doubt he is only interested in you for citizenship. I do however feel that because you are older (psyche says this) he may be looking to have a physical relationship with you and might possibly be incapable of the more serious relationship that you may be desiring. Love was not meant to be complicated, and somehow things just fit right into place when you least expect it.

Keep in mind, this day and age most marriages do not last. So you are going to find lots of young men who are seeking older women (believe it or not) because they have been raised by their mothers alone. Which is understandable, although the problem is they are attempting to bite more than they can chew. Sure it is great and no problem they want an older woman, but can they handle it at their age? As the age gap lessens with age, usually young men do not grow up or find who they are until late 20's to early 30's. Because life demands more of them now, such as obtaining a BA vs how some of you older women only needed a Diploma to land on success.

So with more time being required, it is taking longer to grow up and experience life for what it is. These young people see how their parents were set at an early age and it is hard for them to understand it takes a little longer before they can begin to do those things.

Anyways, I am sure you will do just fine in your decision. Just do not put yourself in a situation you feel uncomfortable in, otherwise your judgment will be blinded by doubt and then all hell breaks loose or will eventually surface after a period of time. You are either humbled with a lesson learned or torn by a waste of time.

Just be careful beautiful... Love will find you.

As people grow older, I believe age becomes more and more of a number. Though a 22 year old could be capable of being serious, this day and age I believe it is very uncommon. Speaking from experience, I prefer older women, although I am also aware that my age for the women I find myself compatible provides a problem for them. Perhaps it is insecurity, that they believe men desire someone younger? Perhaps it is that they recall being that young, and experience has taught them that at that particular age, one cannot be certain as to what they want in life. As we are aware that the younger someone is, the easier it is for them to fall in and out of love, as their interests change rapidly in their quest to find who they truly are in life.

Either way, I am sure you are capable of coming up with the most reasonable choice in this matter. Some women prefer to be with a younger guy, as it makes them feel younger. Sometimes we need that in life so we do not grow old and bitter before our time. It does take longer for people to grow up these days, as now younger people must pursue bigger challenges before acquiring the essentials in life that older folks were able to get by with when they were younger. The cost of houses used to run about the same as you made in a year. There was a time when the high school diploma was enough to succeed in life. Now these younger folks need to obtain a BA just to support themselves and any future arrangements that take place (Marriage, kids, etc...)

Well, whatever you decide I wish you the best.

Commitments to a long distance relationship is all questionable only to your intentions and devotion. Ask yourself how serious you are when you set your mind to something before initiating action towards a long distance relationship. With this day and age we live in, we want what we desire the fastest way possible. People risk and as a majority, seem to have less morals they concern themselves with. I bet most of you don't even know your own neighbors. What does that have to do with things? A lot. As we become more and more of individuals, the con to that is that we become more selfish and only aware of ourselves as if we were the only one who deserves the best in this existence. Therefore one will put their needs before considering someone else. Especially someone very very far away who will be clueless as to what you are up to.

As far as this site is concerned, I think it is best you do not attempt a long distance relationship unless you have put a lot of time in person with someone who mutually shares deep feelings for you in return. Most people on this site (no offense, but from my observations) have issues with insecurities, commitment, manners and a list of other things that affect social and personal relationships with even others within their own community, let alone with someone from an unfamiliar community that may be different of their own.

Hope this helps and good luck to you in your choices.
