I know what you are saying Ras and have been there, my childrens father was a man tart and could sell sand to the Arabs - it was such a painful experience for me and a huge part of my growing up - consequently, I learnt from that experience quite a lot about integrity and overall, the difference between good and bad intent. I found that bad intent would lead a person to sleep with any person for the reason of getting their rocks off while 'good intent' was quite something else.

My innocence and everything else were at stake during this particular learning curve and they all met the sky the night I saw him wrapped in my good friends arms - I would never do this to anybody but, what I have learned is that; 1. not everybody acts from the same principles and 2. no one set of principles suit all folks 3. it sure does hurt lots to see the person you love in the arms of another 4. we mustnt carry these experiences into our futures 5. judgmentalism is the easy option

He was one of these guys who was staying there for the children - instinctively my reaction was to scoff at that but with a bit of research I soon found out it was not only true, but that this man had a very deep unhappiness.

I do agree.

But as far as the decisions people make are concerned , i still think we cannot put all 100% cases in to absolutism codes.

I dont mean to be boastful or anything but I really have never had to drop my moral code for the sake of 'sex'........

sex is available anywhere and everywhere for the taking - compassion and empathy and love and understanding are a little more rare..........

There is no excuse to being allowed to make mistakes in one area while not in another.

Also.. I have absolutely NO sympathy for the 'Other woman' (or man)... if then affair goes tits up and they get hurt..

You cannot expect to get involved in other peoples relationships and not get hurt.

I had a (single) friend who was having an affair with a married man.. (she KNEW his wife too).. She would sit around my table telling us all about it..

Then when it all went wrong.. she was bawling her eyes out.. heartbroken.. Some of my friends consoled her.. but tbh honest I didn't at all.. She totally deserved what she got imo... and I DID tell that (in so many words)

As far as I'm concerned if you are going to play about in someone else's relationship.. you are asking ... and deserve to get hurt.

It's not YOUR partner.. it's not YOUR relationship.. it's someone elses.. and you are poking around where you don't belong.. trying to make/take a relationship that wasn't yours in the first place.

I think it's an incredibly SELFISH thing to do.. get your OWN fricking partner.

I have NO sympathy AT ALL for cheating. NONE .

and for then record.. I have always felt like that.. long before it happening in my marriage to me.

If someone I know to be married has ever tried it on with me.. they get a bloody mouthful As you may have gathered seeing some of my posts on CS.. It is something I feel very very VERY strongly about.
