What do u see in Obama that makes him a potentially good leader.. what are his objectives for your country... does have he particular policies.. .social or fiscal which appeal?

Educate me.. cause so far.. all I have heard about this man (who appears to have come from nowhere) is that he is Black and he 'may' be Muslim...

Genuinely curious

I,ve stated it many times in other threads,, not going to do it all over again.

I only started this thread to show every that has been screaming that Obama is a muslim That he in fact is not!

Just is wrong that if someone don't like him for any reason.. they just so desperately want to believe everything bad anyone says.
And want to spread all of the hate they can.

even when they know it is lies.

I'm sorry Oso, have to disagree with you on this one, getting a BJ in the office doesn't bother me in the least compared to completely destroying the entire economy of the largest economy in the world, or destroying the 7th largest economy in the world (Calilf) by not stepping in and regulating the energy commission (which Clinton did do) when some poor decisions were made at a State level... or spreading fear in order to revoke personal freedom, and then there's the war... No, the BJ doesn't bother me at all.

Calif.. Economy was in the toilet wayyyyyy before Clinton.
Many/most of these issues are controlled at state level, not by the President.

spreading fear in order to revoke personal freedom

How did Clinton do this? I don't know
But I know Bush and his administration have done nothing but this!

The only way things will change in this country is to quit letting $$$$ be the deciding factor...but that will never happen. It takes too much money and connections with big money to even get on a ballot.

I think that there should be a fund that allows ppl an equal footing before elections. It would be a tough thing to pull off...but it would help. That, and term limits for the Senate and House. 2 terms. period. That would help to get rid of the old boys network, and things might actually get accomplished that HELP our country.

That is why I add this comment to most political threads.

I honestly can't believe Bush and Chaney aren't up on charges for all of the lies and profit mongering!

Yet Bill Clinton got impeached for practically nothing.

Don't want to see him hurting... he is old enough to realize the truth .
just point it out more clearly to him and help him to move on.
the sooner he wakes up the less he suffers.

And if he won't listen.... hit him in the head with a brickpeace

not just that,,,,,,,
All of what you have described points this out very clearly.
Sounds like she is trying to let him go easily without being nasty,, be gald and accept it.
if he ask, just point it all out to him and tell him to move on.
She is telling him to let go.comfort

This happened to my brother.A girl that he had been dating for 3 months told him the other night that she thinks that they should just be friends again. He did not know why because they told each other they loved each other and fell head over heels with each other despite the fact they lived 8 hrs from each other. She did not talk to him at all yesterday then finally did and told him that she messed around with another guy. There was no sex but they did mess around. It was in the guys cry and it was this weekend.Well she did then stop talking to my brother until late last night. He asked some questions. He found out that it was more then once.He does not know if more then once that weekend or what.He did not ask that. She does not know if she still loves my brother or wants to be with him still or wants to be with the other guy.She says that she is confused. She only talks to him right now through text messages because shes not in the mood to talk on the phone.Whatever that means. She said that she has been blank all day yesterday too.She is really confused about things.

I am trying to give my brother advice on this but I do not know anymore what to do say.He is heart broken and hurting.I have never seen him ever cry as much as he has yesterday. Can some of you please give your thoughts on this?

Thank you.

Read what you wrote very clearly... she is screwing another guy and letting him go. tell him to face it and move on,, otherwise, she will leave him just hanging on the side,, just in case she looses the other guy.. then she will do it all again.

Pretty sure the Rep don't have a chance in the final run... Dems are outvoting the Reps by 3 to 1.
The war has pretty much decided it.
And now Bush seems to be trying to get the war even more wide sperad before he leaves office.

Man... Congress needs to stop him!!!!!cheers

While it's a great idea... it won't work. Why? Because social security considers drug addiction and alcoholism to be diseases and they would continue to receive benefits under disability. Sucks doesn't it?

I know some of both here that can get nothing.

None for drugs users.

In response to:
hmm.. so Is flirting healthy ?

ohh , firstly .. what do u categorise as flirting ? and healthy flirting ?

Is healthy flirting permissible .. if yes ..

Is it permissible when in a relationship also ?

Where do we draw the lines to flirting ?

Seriously..... Myself, I think if single flirting is fair and fun.

But I think if you are in a relationship, it is better to give the attention to your partner only!
Save it as something special just for them.

think if ya continue to flirt with everyone,, it looses all meaning.

She was ask a few times if he was Muslim and she said NO every time.

Should be an interesting and long day,
