Not entirely supprised with your comment about
not having a death wish to climb.
In reality, climbers do not have a death wish, far
from it, more of a lust for life in my experience.
Rock climbing scores quite low on the fatalities
scale compared to many other seemingly less
hazardous sports.
The whole ethos of climbing is built around safety
and whilst there are extremists as in most sports,
climbing for most is a relatively safe sport.

Oh and by the way.... there have been just
five fatalities on Devils Tower since 1937.
Three of them whilst rappelling on the way down.

Must be some really old intel?!
more than 15 have died there since the beginning of 2000.
when I lived in Rapid city, it always came across our local news,, and 3 fell and died one day when I was there.

I think they may not want it to be well known knowledge so as not to scare off tourist.
big business there!!!
oh well.
the whole state is just Beautiful,
so are the black hills in South Dakota and Custer state park.

I still see no proof that Iraq had anything to do with it. and you can do your own search on where all our troops are at..
you know darn well that Im stating fact.

I didnt say we are still in combat in all of the countries.. but we have troops stationd everywhere... and politically pushing their Countries to live as we do.. democratic.

And yes....... you have also missed many of the other countries we have been fighting in.

How many Americans died on 911? ok, how Many Americans have died fighting over there?

And are we honestly any better off now?
and the fight continuesD'oh!

No matter what is said here....... Our Governments are going to keep doing whatever they wish.

But I think we will see huge changes once Barak gets into office.
(yes- that last statement was speculation)

D'oh!
And Iraq had what to do with 911 exactlyD'oh!

not a darn thing!

the hijackers in the planes were saudi,, as stated above.

I know... as long as we get to kill someone,, we are back to good?
NOT!
So why is it not the Saudi's we attacked... Because that is where we get the majority of our oil from!

But people that believe all of the crap our Government feeds us is why we are fighting everywhere.

The brainwashed Americans, no logic can get past it

Think hard.. do you dream in color?

many people say no, but I had dreams related to my remodeling and when I woke... I vividly remembered the colors.

This is a hard one. It has a lot to do with how you really feel, is it the desire to move in with her or the fact that you can get a nicer place. I stick by the saying 'Only fools rush in' not calling you a fool of course.

But why not take your time give it a few more months to make sure. I believe all is good when a new relationship begins, but seeing each other and living with someone are two completely different situations.

It can go two ways, you move in together and its the best thing you have ever done or you move in together and wish to god you didnt if it goes wrong.

Listen to what you feel, weight up the pro's and con's and dont rush it. This is JMO of course but dont listen to me I'm damaged goods

Either way good luck.

I agree,
Mostly I think it is a bad idea.
65..... By what you told us previously. you havent been single or out of the dating scene long. seems you are rushing it. and you haven't been dating this gal long enough to really know her well or her know you that well.
But what it sounds like....
Both of you need a place by the end of the month.. this creates a situation where you both are nicer by means of an immediate need.

Especially if you have to sign a lease, then if/when thing turn bad.. what happens then.

how can you have the $$$$ for dates and running around but can't afford to move??
confused

But WE Americans buy everything our Government feeds us.
Neet to look at why they hate us, why some come here to fight us.. and it is very few.

If we were not fighting in almost every country..... They would not be here to fight us

Look at it like this....

On the block where you live, if you go out every day fighting with each neighbor,, shooting at them,, throwing granades at them,, and so on..................
How long do you think it would be before they start fighting back?!

Stop long enough to see the "why'"s and not so quick to hate and kill and start even more wars.

This is a war that should have never started in the first place,

How can any American be wondering why so many other peoples hate us, or why they have attitudes.

We Americans are fighting in almost every country!
We claim freedom yet we are forcing other countries to live as we live.........Sorry.. It's all nothing but bullsh&T.

We need to bring all of our troops home from every country and just stop yhe wars we have started!

Get serious here.
Are they our wars, How many have come here to start a war with us?!

and even if 911 is counted as an act of war.......... why have we gone after everyone except those in saudi that were involved.

American pride is one thing....... American hypocrisy and abusive control is another.

Remember Waco?!
