(I wasn't going to come in here because of the age thing but...I'm only 2 years away from 40. )Just because we've never been married doesn't mean we haven't come really close, and then, come to our senses...

So true...I go back and forth...after a few threads I'm ready to work...after a bit of work I'm ready to revisit the treads...I honestly don't know which is pulling and which is pushing...it's sick either way you look at it.

ahmmmmm most of my friends come and go, but i do have a couple that i have kept very close with for many years. I only need one or two close friends to be content.

I think the truth is absolute and inalienable..... you can't argue with it cause it just is.. having said that though.. you have to take into considerations peoples feelings....u can be truthful but you have to be subtle... I have been in some tough situations with friends.. that I knew needed to hear the truth.. precisely for the reason of setting them free.. but u still have to thread carefully cause people aren't always capable of receiving it.. I have a good girlfriend... fabulous.. gorgeous.. intelligent.. financially comfortable girl who is still 'angry' over a previous relationship... and how life has turned out.. I had to chose my timing.. but I did tell her that she had to lose this anger.. cause it is so counterproductive.. initially (cause she has a very strong personality) she didn't appreciate it, but eventually she did cause she knew it was coming from the right place..I struggle with this.. cause I know the truth is best.. particularly if it is for the benefit of others.. but u don' ever want to hurt someone..

yeah I know we get told the same, but when I hit the roo I wanted to make sure it wasnt suffering so I got out and took a look. It was dead as a door nail. I would have shit myself though if it jumped up

ok i had to run out but heres the deal

i was out in the country driving kids home from church
in the church van-one 9 yr old girl left and 2 14 yr olds

i am so grateful i was in a van

seriously-hitting one and having them roll up the hood
is one of my greatest fears

when i lived near the elk they were really scary
never see em standing next to the road til you were passing

i just feel bad

my kid was w/ me
everything seemed slow motion-
like i floored the brakes but didnt stop til impact?
surreal

the big kids said i couldnt have helped it

it made a horrible sound hitting
and an awful sound lying in the ditch

we just sat there
i didnt know what to do
i was so stunned

I hit a Kangaroo once scares the crappers out of you.
