wow just read through this whole thread and it sums up us Aussies so well and makes us so unique ..

we have passion...compassion....there in times of need..offering a helping hand and sound advise...

but above all when it gets really tough..we have our humour that pulls us through when others give up..

my thoughts are constantly on the people in the areas affected...

strange I live only 1 1/2 hours from most of the places..yet feel like I live in another world. I spend my days looking at the trees looking for wind change and put out a plea to the universe to not let the wind pick up and fuel the fires all over again..
