I think its just until you realise what you really want, what you had, what you have now left behind for whatever reason and the desire and determination to not let any of this ruin even a minute's worth of happiness in your life.

This realisation or rather self evaluation of your situation and feelings could take just as long as you would allow it to. I think one should talk to closest of friends and family , let the feelings and sorrow be expressed .. it does feel better !!

Annndddd prepare mentally to start living your own life as you fully again.

Its in our own hands. But with the help of few others, things can get back on track sooner than expected.

Noo I am not saying you will forget or it wont hurt. But it will ONLY hurt soooo much for sometime. Gradually your heart will learn to hurt lesser.

Theres just as much room for tears as we allow them ....

hmm I agree with the others about the user name.

Another thing IMO would be the heading for your profile .. I think that could be modified a bit.

I wish you goodluck in your search.

true enough ... I do think they care but that care is turned inward as you suggest further in your post.

In the end T, the appreciation for consistency, not perfection is what we ought best to indulge and count on in reliable relationships .... ya?

The whole scenario nowadays is pretty disappointing ..

It makes NO DIFFERENCE at all Al .. People .. a lot of them really dont care.

A lot of people say what should be meant and what is said is like misconstructed, modified or adjusted to suit the need.

I do believe to say what you mean is a truly appreciable characteristic which is an asset to posess. But in this age of competition and materialism in almost every field and life, often people are scared or rather do not prefer to let the true self shine through.

dunno

Noooo .. not intending to say i am a saint. But I am known for saying what i think though not immediately having some regard for the feelings involved and giving some room for understanding .. but when i do i say it exactly the way it is .. I lack tact and grace in doing that and i do not regret it often.

Hi Riya. Yes, that is a very good basic philosophy...but it lends itself to the eye for an eye approach too.....which is not so good...

well....I just read a profile from a young 20 year old, who stated in a thread that she made over 250 K a year and was worried that she wouldn't be able to take her daughter to a doctor!! But her profile says she has NO CHILDREN and is a sales representative!!
So YOU tell me why people lie on these threads or profiles!!

I think she is one of those people here to have fun at anybodys expense ...dunno

hmm i do think women are more materialistic now a days.. maybe not all or most but a lot of them. And they wont accept it.

I think THE best thing for a woman is to stand on her own feet , i mean be self sufficient by having her own source of income. It not only affects ones self esteem but partner preferences too.
