Interesting!! hmmm

My take is .. first of all .. Birth control shouldnt be considered a " job ". If sex is " pleasure " and having children is " bringing joy " to our lives ( assuming it is a planned decision ) ... birth control would then be a responsibilty that you would like to consciously bear and share.

Now as such birth control , I think its a joint responsibility which varies from couple to couple. What suits one neednt suit another.

Having said that , considering the scenario of rising single parents and divorces having children can be an expensive affair both financially and emotionally apart from being responsible for bringing another life in to this world.

So women need to be responsible for their own decision whether to let the man do the needful and not be regretful if at the end it doesnt turn out the way you planned. One can only expect and have faith in the partner to be able to maintain a responsible behavior.

While men should also be conscious and take the responsibility of not having to go thro' a situation they dont want to land up being amidst.

Apart from the proper " birthcontrol " reasons , protection is a must as a conscious decision to protect yourself as you never know . dunno

I did everything for her...... then came the pitter patter of little feet..... my daughter Bethany Megan.... she is Beautiful...... after another 18mths.... the pitter patter of little feet was heard again..... Oliver David was born again a truly handsome little fella.....

My ex-wife Claire............. was besotted with Oliver and Bethany as I was too................ but I have a big heart....

Unfortunately my ex-wife Claire didn't (JMHO)..... I didn't fit in with her plans anymore... the arguements.... the lack of love both mentally and physically ended.....

we had nothing in common.... we did separate things with the kid's... when as a 2 point 4 family... it was difficult

after 5 years of this..... it all fell apart... I still love my ex-wife.... she gave me two Angels!!!!

thank you Claire.... I hope you have found the happiness I couldn't provide for you

Things happen Stu . From my little experience so far in life , i think its not about what you cant provide or about how you would fall short of keeping another happy. Its just that when differences arise .. its like working ar two ends of a string but in the opposite direction. Sometimes it gives way .. sometimes people land up meeting at a common point coming from their ends step by step alone towards each other.

So ... coming to say apart from the obvious blatant reasons where one person happens to be majorly at fault , I dont think its about any one person usually.

I think the finest expression is by being there for the other person and being yourself.

Different people express love in different ways.

It could be caring , sharing , spending time , gifting .. for that matter i think anger and concern are also an expression of love.

Which expression of love is most dear to you ? Which makes you feel all smitten day dream ?

In which way do you best express love for another ?

I think its a lot of fear and a bit of insecurity due to being online which prevents a lot of potential matches from happening ...... plus the ego and hurt issues . It is but obvious that no one would wish to go thro the same pain again and again.

I think people who are seriously looking should maybe be more open and take the chance of getting to know the other person while being active on the forums and see where things lead. Maybe even take the lead in dropping a hint that they like that other person. The worst outcome would be she / he would decline the interest. One can always be the best of friends even then.

So .... one step forward people ... thumbs up
