Master plan? Impossible. It would have been a poorly thought out plan seeing as the way the world is!

I think our point is the same as any other form of life on the planet. Make babies. Make lots and lots of babies.

Anything beyond that is icing on our lifecake.

uh oh! This reminds me of Detente .. laugh

Riya, i think the truth is that they ignore the common man (i.e. US) and they just get along with keepin society at its peaceful equilibriumist best - if it was really democracy, our votes would count

you may be right, I honestly don't know what they are though it seems plausable, it is often proven that the person seeing/hearing this phenomina brings such alleged souls to their doorstep so to speak, a personal creation realizing itself or an actual doorway to the ethereal and lost souls?

off to do some woodworking here! TTYL

I dunno .. I watched 'paranormal state' last night .. and there seems to be a large number of not so perfect souls out there. so maybe....

They were doing EVP's (tape recorded ehtereal voices) of well .."I hear dead people." and they (the voices of apparent souls)weren't too happy; but I guess unhappiness can be perfected too?

T o reach the state of perfection .. i mean to realise the original nature of the soul .. it can take eternity and the ones who have are termed " god " like say buddha ...

What you mention as per this theory would be souls wandering after death unable to either be released or be reborn . Plus the unhappiness usually stems from worldy issues ..

definitely over population

If you shove too many people in one little space and tell them to all share the scarce resources, it kind of makes all the rest of the problems happen.

I'd love to propose mandatory sterilization, but I think that plan would go over like a lead balloon.

Population explosion ... i hate tot hink of it. I think even mandatory sterilisation if was feasible would not help. Its " mentality ' that needs a little insightful change. When people know their economic situation and that they can afford a decent life for 1 child why cant they figure out " no more " ... this is simple logic , simpler than children are God's gift or i would just love to have 2 more.sigh

Good question Riya im not sure if the answer is oil or god - they seem to be embroiled - all a part of the oneness of surviving in the now - i guess for some folks, the state of the stock exchange today may well be a high priority our lives are being led by people who's priorities dont actually meet the urgencies of the person on the street

I loved all the good stuff about our recent Dublin trip - but I have never seen so many beggars in the streets very sad - i know some of them make a decent living that way but heck, some of this suffering is real too - i simply do not know - if I had to choose, I would say that the biggest problem is MONEY cos lots of us are altruists already

ahh so true Trish. The beggars in Dublin sounds interesting to me. I thought it was a fairly rare problem in the developed world.

Money !! I should have remembered. Almost like the axis on which the planet rotates. Quite sad but all of us face this situation. Literally driving life around to make money while not being able to enjoy it in most cases.

Simple pleasures .. we need to make time !!sigh

you realize you've created a paradox. if the soul is all perfect, the subconcious all knowing then its legacy is complete forever. absolutism dontcha not think? That would end 'forever'.

Only thing that is forever is forever, everything is every thing. If they're not then why do we do this again and again?

the department of redundancy department

hmmm....

i mean the soul is perfect but we dont realise is. our subconscious apparently stores all the details again not accessible to the conscious mind unless systematic efforts are made.

so, to realize the original perfection of the soul we strive and when it is reached its the state of enlightenment.

little better this is , i guess.

It has to be population if you choose from the list.....it underlies a lot of other problems. I don't know why Terrorism is on the list. It makes the news but it doesn't affect many people and is probably more a symptom than a cause.

I honestly believe that the end is near...not necessarily tomorrow near, but it is inevitable. This world has gotten so bad. There is so much more hatred, selfishness and other huge problems that something has to give eventually. It seems to me that there are less caring people in the world and to me, that is a huge problem!

sigh ahh it is. Nature has its own way of settling the score or rather rectifying the imbalance ..
