No what has happened here is that your FRIENDSHIP was abused. you were doing the right thing where he was doing the wrong thing. Should you let guys stay at your home that are wasted. To be honest its probably not a great idea. But its their problem not yours. Be careful and stay safe. Alcohol changes people.
thumbs up

I feel you were definitely being a friend.

But personally seeing how men are i think once they are interested in you it takes a conscious and understanding man to be just friends. Most people normally dont get that part so i believe. Its difficult for them to stay platonic.

So, maybe i would have been kind too but with the caution alarms on high alert in my head before i offered him a couch.

I really do not feel sorry for her at all, she missed important meetings with her legal team, who have in fact asked to be released from acting for her.
It says a lot when a client who would be paying them big bucks will drop you.
I am of the opinion that most parents would walk over hot coals to get custody of their children. What is so important that she missed appointments and meetings where her childrens welfare is at risk?
I wonder how full her social calendar is that she something else to do.
OK People/Parents make mistakes ... But don't they learn by them?

Sadly, that carries over to future relationships, I do believe.... (baggage) People think they can put things in the past, but we are a sum of our life experiences.
so true .. how much do we learn from them ?

usually i feel its less than the amount of tears we shed for them.

People have reasons to behave in a certain way. Circumstances , emotions , anger ... i do not include cheating for obvious reasons .

So maybe its possible to a certain level to reason out their standing and actions. dunno

I'm pretty certain trust can be re-established dude...total trust as well.

An open mind helps...the ability to reason through the multitude of negative emotions.

Most importantly, it's the attitude of the offender...their sorrow and contrition.
thumbs up

And the intensity of the feelings you have for them.

Sometimes it's very difficult to forget. Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to "try" and forget something as the act itself reminds you of the situation. It's a quandry~

Missed you last night Riya...

Nope.

That can lead to the poisoning of the relationship.

If you can't put these errors to the back of your mind and allow yourself to move in within the relationship, then move on without the relationship.

I thought the saying was, whatever DOESN'T kill you.

I don't know about "makes you stronger." I've found "whatever doesn't kill you leaves you scarred for life" to be far more true.

Often we see people forgive but continue to complaint about the person. Gossip and spout venom .

Is that forgiveness then ?
Is it right to continue to discuss them ..

How romantic are you?

1. Are u swept off your feet when u meet the right person?

2. Do u believe love conquers all?

3. or do think there is no room in your life for anything romantic?

To meet the right person cn take a lifetime sometimes , so being swept off ones feet is going to be but natural until the logic takes over.

Love conquers all ?? nope
I think there is no conquering , possessing or claiming in TRUE love. Its purely unconditional caring and giving. There is no room for anything else. You forgive , you care , you do everything that can make them smile but the outcome always remains to be seen.
As being human the selfish streak does kick in at times. So, the conquering part needs conscious efforts.

There is enough room for the right person.

But surely, we only fail when we give up on love?

By virtue of the fact we are dealing with other people, there is always the possibility of problems...ups and downs etc.

But the true test of love is in the ability to keep wanting to give purely...with selfless motivations.

Idealistic I know, but ideals can be quite useful.

thumbs up
