I just find it funny.. (and a little sad).. that people that follow a religion and want all this peace and kindess to man blah blah blah..
are fighting and arguing..
Then there's someone like me.. a humble ole Atheist.. (plenty of us!) doing my best not to argue, to deflect confrontation.. and avoid hurting anyone's feelings. Somethings wrong there somewhere..
Thank 'god' am not religious!
I agree.
I am quite religious and my views have been evolving towards a broader prospective meeting people here esp. those who are atheist.
I think religion is " personal " .. its can be shared , discussed , understood and practised but not forced !! The entire basis as i have understood of all religions is " betterment of mankind " or something on similar lines ... but that doesnt mean thats THE only way or THE only thing to do.
Its to love and be compassionate ... but we seem to forget the essence of it all and instead go verbatum which is totally misplaced hence.
