I forgot about this one, it's good too, for breakfast...

2 cups skim milk
2 tablespoons honey
ground cinnamon to taste
2 cups dry couscous
1/3 cup chopped dried fruit, you choose
1/3 cup raisins
sugar to taste if you'd likeDIRECTIONSIn a saucepan over medium heat, combine the milk, honey and cinnamon. As soon as it comes to a boil, stir in the couscous. Turn off the heat, cover and let stand for 5 minutes. Stir in the fruit, raisins, and almonds.

Good luck!

There's a good idea!! i've never tried that so i will definately give that one a go as its a candidate to use the stuff up in a new way, which i'm also keen on trying!

Kinda hard because I don't know what you like!
Here's something on the simple side...

1 Tbsp butter or margarine
1/2 medium onion, sliced (about 1 cup)
2 medium green bell peppers, diced (about 2 cups)
4 medium cloves garlic, crushed through a press
1-1/2 cups water
1 cup precooked couscous
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions:

Melt butter in a nonstick saucepan and add onion. Sauté gently for about 10 minutes, or until onion is golden. Add green peppers and garlic and sauté for another 5 minutes. Add water and bring to a boil. Stir in couscous, cover, and remove from the heat. Let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and add salt and pepper to taste.

Thanks for that! I've done that type of thing before and added lemon to spice up the couscous and if all else fails pretty much what you typed is my default recipe for using it all up!

I wonder if theres any way of using it and making something really tasty?

I'm a pretty good cook but i'm on a mission to completely clear the cubboards before the end of the month!

Being pissed out of your mind might even make sense when you read some of the threads.Actually it could be a positive advantage to try to work out what the hell some people have in their mind half the time.

I think its the biggest case of OCD or "manlove" i have ever seen!! I'm sure he would actually pucker up and kiss his butt and even if he had a terrible case of the shits!!

I have a suspicion he's made wallpaper with Obama's face on it, and is at home right now repapering his home from top to bottom with it!!

Hows that for a scary visionlaugh

I hate it when you run outside in the dark without shoes or socks on and you hear a squelch or crunch and you come back in the kitchen switch on the light and find you have a dead snail on the bottom of your foot or if your really unlucky you have your foot inside a head hedgehog so deep it looks like one of those tacky comedy slippers.

If you want some more hates i dare say if i think about my nephews toilet habbits i will be able to come up with something creative.

So if i sort of ignore you and glaze over, i'm either bored shitless or i think your lying through your teethrolling on the floor laughing

What got me is why on earth go to Blackpool in the first place, i'd rather drink my own urine than holiday there for a weeklaugh

I just dont understand how anyone can be that cruel

It's a fact most people view other people and their feelings as something to manipulate, take advantage of and abuse if they feel like it.

What's worse is some of these people who secretly do this type of thing take the high moral ground when really there as low as bear piss and furry haemorrhoids.

I'm careful who i let in my life now or who i tell my innermost thoughts as frankly why expose myself to more of the same as i had in the past.

Best of luck to your friend and his case though, i hope they recover in time and this episode whatever it is doesn't ruin their faith in humanity (though some of humanity is basically scum and we shouldn't sugar coat it).

I've never quite understood the necessity of these new 'upgrades' as they have existed and have been used before starting back in the first de0segregation case in Little Rock, Ark, back in "54 all the way to George Wallace's famous 'last stand' at the courthouse door in Mississippi, in which some US army troops were used and dozens arrested, several being sent to Federal psychiatric units(the Walker case). Many claimed they were tortured. The clauses and laws seem to have not really needed any updating as the potential for Federal terror against it's own people has always been there...but the question still remains: will the US armed forces turn their guns on their own people if so ordered?????????

They were happy to do so during the Vietnam period. What makes you think they wouldn't tonight if rioting broke out and shops were being looted.

The argument would take as long as it takes to slot in a 30 round mag and take off the safety and chamber the first round.
