It's always been about murder. Just like anyone who kills another human being due to drunk driving. I don't know how it works where you live, but in my backyard people who kill other people are guilty of at least manslaughter and should pay the price.

This isn't about pleasure - it's about injustice. It's about a rich politician who was born into a corrupt family who got away with murder. Kind of like what happened to Marilyn Monroe...

With all due respect Portiea, I'm not taking pleasure in anyone's suffering - but what I think is sickening is how a United States Senator gets drunk, drives off a bridge and kills an innocent woman. Kennedy could've been a man and tried to save her but he was more concerned with his political career, and with the power of his family and his political connections, all he had to do was to write a check to the Kopechne family and it all went away.

I believe in "what goes around comes around" and drunk drivers kill innocent people every day.

How's it feel, Teddy? Good thing Ethel Kennedy keeps that black dress handy.

First let me say that I have nothing but respect, admiration, and unconditional lust, er, love for all blondes. But after thinking I had heard them all, apparently this one slipped through the cracks…

An attractive blonde is driving down the highway – any old highway – when she looks in her rear-view and sees the unmistakable red lights of a police car. Being the law abiding citizen that she is, she pulls over to the side of the road.

When the cop gets out of her car it turns out she is also an attractive blonde. The cop walks up to the side of the car and says, “I pulled you over because you were speeding. I need to see your driver’s license.”

After the blonde driver digs through her purse for a few minutes she looks up and asks the cop, “What does a driver’s license look like?" The cop replies: “Well…it’s shaped like a rectangle and it has your picture on it.”

After a few more minutes of purse digging, the blonde driver finds a mirror. She looks at it for a moment and hands it to the blonde cop saying, “Here it is, Officer.”

The blonde cop looks at the mirror for a moment and then hands it back to the driver saying, “Sorry about the mix-up but you can go. I didn’t realize you were a cop.”

Don't get me wrong, I really do love blondes...: click here to read the entire thread »

Hello everyone. Good to be here. And now that I’ve showered, I can introduce myself.

This morning I’m feeling a little sorry for myself and I’d like to share something personal with all of you. This month marks the 25th anniversary of the death of my older brother. He was a good man, an honorable man. He was my best friend, and at 29 years old he was too young to be taken.

Not long after that day a friend came to me with something she found. I don’t know who wrote it but over the years it’s been a source of comfort to me and I’d like to share it with all of you. It’s called The Dash:

I read of a man who stood to speak at the funeral of a friend
He referred to the dates on his tombstone, from beginning to end
He noted the first date was of his birth, and he spoke of the second with tears
But he said that what mattered most of all was The Dash in between those years

For The Dash represents all the time the he spent alive on Earth
And now, only those who loved him know what the little line is worth
For it matters not how much we own; the cars, the house, the cash
What matters is how we live and love, and how we spend Our Dash

So think about this long and hard – are there things we’d like to change?
For we never know how much time is left; we could be in the Dash end-range
If we could slow down enough to consider what’s true and what’s real
And always try to understand the other way people feel

And be less quick to anger, and show appreciation more
And love the people in our lives like we’ve never loved them before
If we treat each other with respect, and more often wear a smile
Remembering that this special Dash might only last a while

So when at last the time has come for our life’s actions to rehash
Will we be pleased with the things they say…

About how we spent our Dash?

Rest in peace, bro.

Wikked..I'll tell you why I think men stay...it's because they are "men" not quitters, willing to be men of their word, and not selfish, knowing splitting the family hurts the kids the worst. I believe real men, not men who are hopeless or stupid "stay" cause they understand and believe in the committment they made. I admire and appreciate a man with a big heart and a backbone to stand for what he believes in. I can show a man like that respect.
Sorry peaches, but I think that's a crock - I can be a stand up guy, a man of my word and a man of value without having to stay in a relationship that has died - it has nothing to do with being a quitter or not. If a spouse has been unfaithful, you can't quit something you've been fired from. And too many unhappy people have stayed, locked in to a marriage based upon beliefs - that does nothing but cause resentments and that's how people get hurt. If you stay because you're afraid of pissing God off, that's one thing, but if you do it because some pulpit pounding, bible thumping representitive of some organized faith SAYS it's a sin to divorce, then you deserve all the pain in the world, since by doing so, you have just handed your life and happiness over to another human being. The zealots who twist the bible into their own manual for life and use it to scare their followers as they see fit, always have company because fear is the motivating factor. Get a divorce, go to Hell. Always a pleasure.

Stop the fumbling around. Just lay us down and do the wild thing. Women want it more then men anyway so get it up and get busy, we're wasting time here.
Ummm...parden me...but isn't this what us guys have been saying since the begining of time? Problem is when WE say it we're slimebags, but when a chick goes for it, well, just let me speak for all of us HORNY GUYS and say thank God for ladies like you! I'll pick you up at the airport.

My first show was Clapton/Santana. Still to this day the best concert I've eer seen. Joe Cocker and Keith Moon both jammed with EC.

LOL Lene'...

I miss him dearly...I wish I could have seen him..There are some good Austin city limits concerts of him out there. I guess that's the best we can do.
Those Austin City Limits shows are an excellent example - they were recorded about six years apart, which is about the timeline for the two shows that I saw. The earlier concert was when he was still strung out on a lot of drugs, and the later show was after he cleaned up - the first show I saw I was standing five feet away from him and he played with the lind of volume that would've been acceptable at Woodstock! It was that night that I became convinced that Hendrix had been re-incarnated as a right-handed white guy! The second time was when he toured with Jeff Beck - I love Beck but Stevie owned that night.

How in the hell does a guy "let it slip" that he's been with quite a few hookers? "Oh by the way babe, my favorite color is red and I enjoy paying for a strange blowjob." Run like hell, Mistress, no matter how long you've been in touch with this man - contrary to the popular notion, most men have never, nor would ever, consider picking up a prostitute - he has told you everything you'll ever need to know about himself. People don't let things just "slip"

As long as we continue to GIVE that power to said vagina, they will always hold the cards. And when the hand is over, and we've lost another bet, we will then, and only then, understand why wars have been fought over women. Thank you very much, but I'd rather have a mind to talk to and have to spank my own monkey, than have great sex with an idiot.
