I think its part of the original poster's responsibility to make sure that they reply to posts made by the less frequent poster, to include them into the conversation, it will encourage more posts and help to make the poster feel more included in the thread.JMO

Hmmm... Well (and I realize this probably won't be a popular positive thing), it looks as though I might have the chance to hunt wild boar and therefore add a few hundred pounds of cheap and very healthy meat to the larder for the winter.

Other than that... I'm vertical and breathing, very much in love with the light of my life and the coffe will be done in about 5 minutes. How much better could life get?

No, some of the viewpoints made should not be made public. I think the fault there is an inability to assess the situation and modify one's behaviour accordingly, no? That said, there will be private jokes banded about that mean nothing to others. Its simply that there are instances whereby certain members have made more of a connection with some than with others.... its called forming a friendship. It happens.... in RL too!

That doesn't mean to say one should feel that they should stay out of a thread because of it or give up all together because they feel left out.... it says more about being prepared to give up at the first hurdle than it every will say about those who are inter-acting more fully. Sometimes, one has to be steadfast and resolute in forming and maintaining relationships with people, and THAT applies in RL too!

Effort is needed from ALL participants.... its that simple!!

When he then understands you, you get a waggy tail and a lick when you get home. You nurse him when he is ill, comfort him when he is frightened.......

When he comforts YOU when you are sad, and brings you so much joy. When you have him for over 14 years and do almost everything together. When humans have let you down..... he is always there for you!! He is part of the family and....

When he finally goes......... it rips your heart out!!!

High Maintenance to me is the epitomy of the Fairy Tale Princess fables which populate all cultures. A woman who lives beyond the borders of reality and assumes that a knight in shining armour astride a majestic white horse will lift her from her prison and ride off into the eternal sunset to live happily ever after. Often this syndrome destroys her ability to impart more than her mere being there and she tends to concern herself with how the image of this man is against her dreams tarnished by reality.
Every man should Love the woman in his life as if she were the only woman alive. And likewise she should Love the man in her life the same way.
No woman deserves less that her heart's desire but there is an equal amount of work applicable on both sides to make it work. She will reap as she has sown, and if she has never been in the field of Love tending the garden her heart will starve to death or she will abandon her foolishness. JMO
