Wisdom and age do indeed go hand in hand! Thanks Wedward, you're a sweetie!

Now why am i not surprised that younger caucasian males have no comment on this post!
I'm younger and less wise that 'weddie'; however, I don't understand why women with straight hair want curly hair, women with curly hair want straight hair and women without blonde hair want blonde hair when blondes are supposed to be 'not so bright'........... maybe women want more what they haven't got than men?

Mind you, the new generation of men are using beauty products, dye their hair and have their tiny little testicles waxed as well!

grin

Rugby
Cricket
Football
Nascar
Baseball
Boxing
Formula 1

These are all known to be a "man" sport. Reading a thread put up by Icecrystal, this question popped into my head. I'm a tomboy and I used to play touch-rugby and cricket with my cousins and nephews......I'm also a keen Formula 1 fan.

Do men think and find it awkward when women watch and show a keen interest in these sports? Or do they find it refreshing?

Your thoughts?
touch rugby? Mmmmmmm! blushing

The term is “jaywalking” Cristina.

We do have a law against jaywalking in Malta but it is hardly enforced. People cross willy nilly all over the damn place.

Mercedes owners in Malta are clamouring to have the “Tri Star” motif back on the bonnet so that the drivers can align the jaywalkers properly and run them over.

Perfectly reasonable request....
thumbs up

Yes, and nice American-style 'bull horn' bumpers have induced squeals of outrage from various groups of do-gooders in the UK who would rather be run over by conventional bumpers!

Yup, you is just being cynical.....!

Life is what you make it.......

Long ago, kids were kids. They wore their cousins cast off clothing and only had 2 prs of shoes, if they were lucky. Now .... they are Designer Wear kids, and they sit in on adult conversations and have opinions, and they own all the latest technological gadgets, and they are more clever than their parents were at their ages... so they don`t need to be taken to the park to play anymore, or told to shut-up.

Families didn`t disperse all over the globe and communicate via email .. they lived around the corner so popped in for tea, gossip, beers, dart games, and sunday lunches, and to participate in the family Skiffle Band.....

Apart from when there was a nice good old-fashioned European war to take part in......then the kids had to grow up real fast and learn to fight - or their dads went away and many never came back; it was never the idylic world we imagine it was in 'the good old days'! conversing

Nice to see you back, smoky! grin
