I think I could meet my other half pumping gas into the car, but I digress.

My expectations are well within check - barring a future relationship, what I've found here is a lot of nice people, and that it would seem that the world is a little smaller. It's all good.

And congrats Raynew!

Did somebody forget it? For me, it is but a distant memory, but one not completely forgotten.

I quietly contemplated this over coffee this fine morning. A sort of peace, perhaps contentment, swept over me.

I want for little, and technically, have more than I need. Sure, a relationship would be nice, but in due time.

My wish is this contentment for others...

Oh wait, getting all flowery and stuff. Food? Let's just say pizza...

I remember those days - can't say I miss them too muchlaugh Lots of water as suggested, and if memory serves, Excedrin was my cure of choice...

Okay, this is a serious thread, and I have something serious to say. In one of the scam emails, the Ethnicity is listed as Black/African, the pic is of what looks like Paris Hilton's sister.

I'm no rocket scientist, but that strikes me as a bad sign.

A short history lesson...you surely need it, right?

The Homo Habilis, our oldest identified (3 millions of years) ancestor, is situated in the African cradle. He is followed of the Homo Erectus who emigrated a first time of Africa toward Asia 2 millions of years ago... then a second time toward the Europe 1 millions of years later.

Between - 500 000 and -200 000 years one notes that the fossils recovered in Africa are all in way of "sapientisation."
In other words the Homo erectus evolves toward the modern man. 100 000 years ago, it is in Asia and to the Middle Orient that one finds this type of evolution toward the homo sapiens.

He doesn't appear in Europe that toward - 40 000 years: it is the man of Cro-Magnon.

All these recovered fossils make the unanimity... and the methods of dating permit to assure the presence of such species, to a place and one moment given.

Excuse me Sir? What was the question please?
bowing bowing Not worthy...not worthy...

The first tipoff is the pic is of a Supermodel. The next is they never looked at my ad. They never want to correspond through CS. And the letter always reads just like this (lifted from my mailbox, where there are three or four of these). Do they all use the same template?

Hello my name is Anna.
I for the first time have decided to get acquainted through the Internet.
Therefore I do not know, that it is possible to write, to the person with which want to get acquainted.
But I shall try to start.
To me of 29 years.
I become interested in your profile and to decide to write to you.
You very fine the man.
And you have very much intrigued me.
And I very much want to have acquaintance to you.
I want to find the kind and decent person.
The person on which it is possible to rely.
I the kind and open person, for dialogue and friendship.
I shall be very happy if you will write to me.
You can write to me on mine E-mail the address: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
I shall be glad to our acquaintance.
I with impatience shall wait for your answer.
Anna.
