In response to:
Do you need titles or ... just a variety? and what i suppose to knew ....
Hey you are 21 ... my daugher is 22 ... which makes me almost grandmother of yours
you are definately not my grandmother, and as far as books go, titles, or genres. i'm a romantic to the core, a die hard emmerson fan, yet, my favorite book is catch-22 by joseph heller.

In response to:
imagine if it was easy...would you really appreciate her as much.
that's true, but i'm not even speaking specifically about dating, i also mean in general, i guess you could even throw guys into the equation, intellectuals are a dying breed, almost as rare as us rockabillys.

why is it so difficult to find an intellectually centered, attractive girl with an affinity for good music and a deeply rooted love for the fine arts? i exist, surely a woman like that exists.

and the bible says the world is round ("it hangs like a circle in the sky") in the old testament. which is amazing considering the dating of the dead sea scrolls.

gnosis was what the gnostics claimed to possess. they felt that their "god-given" understanding of spirituality gave them permission not to study the word. and it really made paul angry.

and mysticalguy, you forget II timothy 2:15. and you should probably read all of phillipians.

have you ever heard of the gnosis? it was one of the things the corinthians struggled with.

shinedown, you bleed ignorance. the four angels were given power to destroy because without god's permission even satan would be powerless. they are not "good" angels. and adultery is a forgivable sin, just like any other. AND regardless of divine inspiration, revelation was a guy named john trying to explain futuristic visions given to him by an angel while he was in exile. like a colonial american trying to explain an airplane.

jesus says in john: woe to those who cause evil, for evil must come, but woe to the man that causes it.

god is not bound by time and therefore knows all that has and will happen. his plan has worked all of those things into it, so, in a very superficial way, those bad things must happen for god's good plan to work. they are apart of the bigger picture.

read ecclesiastes.
