Hi fellow CS members. My name is Jon.

I've had a long time crush on a woman I've seen around Nelson region. I know her name and I know her address. A long time (5 or 6 years) ago she had a profile on hotmail.

I've never talked to her. Let's call her Suzy. I'm thnking about writing a letter to tell her about a bit my self and see if she's interested in meeting me for a coffee sometime. Obviously I would make it somewhere public so she could walk away if she wanted to.

My question is; Should I write to her or just forget about her? From Shy gent.

Hey Jon

Well nothing ventured
nothing gained
good luck

Hi Karen

well tahts me and was told today thats why i cant get a date they dont want the kids involved ...i just think their full of s---t ...lol
Bad to be a single dad, no it's not
or a single mum as well we're all in the
same boat
sure things are not as carefree as you'd
like them sometimes but we're facing up to
our responceabiltys unlike the other half's
who are not.
If I am to be penalized for loving and wanting
my daughter then so be it.
To bad there's so many people out there who
can't admit all us single mums and dads are
trying to do the right thing,
and to those people who look down on us
our kids are worth more than you will ever be

My girl told me that we couldn't afford for me to drink beer. She said I would have to give it up. But then I caught her spending sixty-five dollars on makeup! I asked why I had to give up things but she didn't. She said she needed the makeup to look pretty for me. I told her that was what the beer was for. I don't think she's coming back.

random question, 1 know, but how CAN guys fake orgasms? Surely the white stuff (or lack thereof) would be a pure giveaway?

apparently, some guys reckon they can - and there have been articles written on how men can fake orgasms too
why would you want to
in the first place

unless she's that bad in bed
you can wait to get out confused

Hmmm.. Id be bloody pissed off if someone tried to kiss me on a first date.

I think that's rude and impolite.

dunno about that i've always found that just a
simple quick kiss on the cheek or lips as a
thank you for your company and a good time was
quite well recieved. It was just a thank you
and not something rude or impolite at all

I don't think this is a real dilemma. Just see who you want to see and don't burn either bridge just yet. You may be premature with the new man and you also don't want to make decisions about your life based on the illness of another. You are not at the stage of leading anybody on (in my humble view) and if you behave ethically and hold your head high...things will resolve themselves at some level for you...and probably quite soon.

Also...don't dare remove your profile...good word associators are hard to find!!

well said, just feel your way into it and don't commit your self
either way at the moment just treat them as you would like to be treated and see how it goes time will tell good luck with it

Why do they fill your head with words of marriage, children and love if they don't mean them?
I don't kmnow the full situation but i would cut my loses and move on
it seems like she's playing you for what ever reason move on even if it hurts which i'm sure it does but you've got to be content with someone not lied to i'm sure you could find better, you don't need this

He decided to help himself. Not before landing himself in jail but as of today he has cleaned himself up, got his job back and attends meetings daily.

hope he keeps it up
