I'm 5'7" and I don't need to wear heels by any means, but I wear them because I'm more comfortable in them than sneakers or flat shoes.

I always wear high heels, unless I'm going to be doing something that they're not practical for like walking through the woods or climbing the red rocks in Sedona or going to the gym.

For me it's just a personal preference grin

I want Portiea returned this instant!!! Whoever took her must bring her back immediately...we have our ways....

I'm glad to see you too and glad to know you're okay. I'm feeling better little by little I think...I'm just feeling really wiped out easily, so when I just disappear it's because I've moved away from the puter and passed out for a few hours. It kinda sucks.

I'm the same way, I sleep a lot when the pain is bad. I hate it, it's so boring. Can't remember the good dreams half the time.

Hi beautiful bouquet of flowers

I'm not sure I remember any of my dreams in the last 2 weeks mumbling

I'm sure they were quite strange and interesting rolling eyes

i think the sudden sleep is a reaction to pain
for me anyway
ive seen that pattern when it was bad
seems like my brain and nervous system just had to go on shutdown
a protective reaction?

i did motrin only for almost 2 yrs except during hospitalizations
i know a prescription as prescribed is ok
and we dont have to suffer but i knew for me
at the time
it wasnt a good idea
too sad
my dad and fiance had just died
i didn have a diagnosis
it would have been toooo comfortable to be comfortable
shutting down was the self defense my body came up with
and thennnn i felt guilty about not 'accomplishing' anything

sick sick sick

weller now tho

im sorry honey
pain sucks
but we can hang-no matter what

I can definitely relate to that. I'm only taking half of what the Dr prescribed for me. When I took the full amount that she prescribed I was pretty much comatose and incoherent.

I'll never claim to be well...Only better than I was. laugh

-by Max Ehrmann in 1927-

Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
And remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly & clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull & ignorant;
they too have their story.

Avoid loud & aggressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain & bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing future of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs;
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself.

Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity & disenchantment
it is perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue & loneliness.
Beyond wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees & the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labours & aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery & broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.

Be cheerful.

Strive to be happy.

Heard this many years ago,when I came to my senses!

Thank you Conrad hug

I keep this in my Big Book and my wallet for the times when I'm in doubt smile

First I would find my Son, even though I would be risking my life in the process. Then I'd take my Mom, my Daughters, my Sons and my Granddaughter to Ireland and spend as much time there as possible with them.

You never realize how close you are to dying until you see your entire life pass before your eyes and you think of all the things you wanted to do and haven't.

Never forget to tell the people you love that you love them each time you see or talk to them, you may never have the chance to say it one last time. Don't forget to tell someone you're sorry and think you can do it tomorrow, because you may not be able to.

Life is too short, live it and make the most of it while you can. We only have today.

hows by you today?

one minute at a time?

Hi gorgeous bouquet of flowers

I'm ok...Still under the weather. I was running a fever again last night.

Even a minute at a time is too much for me right now. It's more like a moment at a time. I don't understand why I get so tired suddenly and just pass out for a few hours. I'm not liking it very much sigh

How are you hon? hug
