rolling on the floor laughing Well on occassions such as those, as soon as I see the waitress, I'll say "Check, Please!" I can't possibly sit there and have a dinner with absolutely no conversation, especially if there's nothing going on in the circuit boards behind the eyes or between the ears. laugh

I think there is something to be said for this...I have looked up and made direct eye contact with a total stranger...and have my whole body "respond" to that one brief "look"....
Whereas i could be on a date and stare that person until my eyes start to bug out and water...and....NOTHING!!!
rolling on the floor laughing Yes and you want to go over to them and say "Earth to _____ is there anyone home? Is there anything in there?"rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Making eye contact...

The eyes are the windows to the soul. You can learn a lot about a person by making eye contact with them. I know for me that eye contact is the most important thing when meeting someone and I'm a sucker for someone that has that *twinkle* in their eye.

I'll have to get back to you on this, but I'm thinking that I'd have to agree with everyone that has said they wouldn't want to leave anyone out...Almost everyone around here seems to be very nice. So far I believe there's only 1 person I WOULDN'T want to meet and I think most people would agree with me on that one laugh

In response to:
in the grocery store of life Happiness and Contentment on always on our list, however all those other things that lifes store offers is so appealing that as we proceed to the aisle of
Happiness and Contentment are carts get filled with "junk food" which can limit to the amount of happiness and contentment that can fit into our shopping cart.

stick to your
list so many of lifes choices are merely "junkfood" tasty and sweet but never fulfilling.

Ahh, it sounded good when I thought it.

just an opinion
yeah I went grocery shopping early this morning,
could'nt find anything
That is a very good analogy Fireliter applause hug

My take on it is this...You must love yourself in order to be able to love others. You must be honest with yourself in order to be honest with others. If you are happy and content with yourself, then that shines through you to others. Trust yourself and your instincts and you will be able to not only trust in others, but others will also trust you. grin

Living Life

I woke up this morning to the warmth of the sun
No hangover to cure, I can enjoy it and have fun
With my windows open wide I hear the birds sing
I never realized the happiness this would bring
Children outside laughing and playing
The trees ever so slightly swaying
The bright colors of the flowers and grass
Things I would have missed if I hadnt fell on my ass
I made mistakes and now a chance to make a new start
No regrets for making them, I played the lead part
I am who I am and exactly where Im supposed to be
Why did I try to be anything else except me?
Taking baby steps along the way
I can now accept life just for today
Live today like its your last
Dont live in the past
Miracles happen, wishes do come true
These are the things that happen when you let yourself be you

Why

The sky is filled with colors so bright
From blues to pinks to yellows and clouds of white
Picture perfect most would say
Who would think that I would dread a new day
As the sun rises into the sky
The deep pink glows and you wonder why
Where are the answers that we need
Could it be the warnings we fail to heed
The sun glitters across the water to welcome this day
Serenity and peace it brings some would say
Yet I feel so empty and old
I dont feel the suns warmth, only the cold
Where did it all go wrong
What do you do to make it right
I cant have another sleepless night

I have one on my right thigh which is now covered by a tatt. My other one everyone teases me about because it's on my neck and automatically people think it's a hickey rolling eyes The one I covered was kind of unique, but I always hated it over the years, now no one knows it was ever there laugh

In response to:
Not a cb er but have a funny, true story about them.

When I worked for the dentist, there was a radio in each operatory. For some reason, if a trucker went by and happened to be on the cb in front of the office, the tranmission came through over our radio.

One day we had a nun in the dental chair. It was perfectly quiet in the room except for the radio playing soft music. When a trucker went by and all of a sudden came through loud and clear on the radio - "anybody got an ole lady needs doin this side of town?"

Not one of us could maintain composure - even the nun burst into laughter.
rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing That's great! I'm quite sure that's happened more times than anyone hears about.rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

I've had a few CB handles over the years Chatterbox which I've had since I was a little girl a handle that my Dad had given to me (hmmm I wonder whylaugh ) and I still use it to this day. CB handles that were given to me over the years that I've used Wild Fire, Sugar and Spikes, and Lady Polar Bear

You know I just realized blushing Having been a truck driver and being on a singles site, I'm probably betting that there's probably a few drivers on here that knew me on the road D'oh! dropping jaw
