I'm sorry that you can't and don't understand what's been going on. I thought I explained what was transpiring the other night but I guess that wasn't enough. Instead I got an angry email. I'm not quite sure how I feel right now except hurt. You of all people should know that the last almost 2 months now haven't been the greatest and that it's been a struggle to keep my head and strength up.

is a spiritual tradition that is concerned with the self-realisation by which one understands the ultimate nature of reality (Brahman/supreme truth).

Ok...I'll have to look at it and do some research on it, but thank you Rahul. I'm pretty well versed in many of the world religions, but they are the ones that are more "mainstream" so to speak.

Oh dear India has many religions n beliefs.vedanta is universal ....in fact it rejects all rituals n is like science.the preamble being ask questions.

Maybe I was mistaken on that then...I do know that she did practice rituals. If I remember correctly there are approximately 8 - 10 religions/belief systems that are there in India. I know she had mentioned it specifically, I may have interpreted it wrong. Maybe this will help make it more clear and perhaps you may be able to enlighten me a bit.

She has practices similar to mine, though also in some ways different. Same tools, but different ways. She uses crystals, cards, pendulums etc. Each has it's own use and purpose, as well as their own way of being stored away and packed for travel.

why no one has mentioned spirituality or culture !!!!1

I will dare to touch on this one a bit...

I had the pleasure of meeting a beautiful young woman about 2 months ago. She goes to one of the universities here. Spiritually speaking, she follows one of the most ancient belief systems in India - Vedanta. I do know that spirituality is the "life center" of India's culture. From what I understand most believe in a combination of religion and philosophy. Many of the jewelry items that are worn by the women are worn in order to protect them from unwanted harm and/or dark spirits.

There have been numerous angels that have presented themselves in my life in one form or another. Don reminded me of when I was out on the road and I definitely had an angel watching over me that night.

I had a delivery to make up in Michigan and when I had a morning delivery I always preferred to run at night and this way I could pull right in to where ever I was delivering to. I was in Kentucky and had only been driving about 2 hours when I had all of a sudden become extremely tired which wasn't like me. I parked the truck at a truck stop and called a friend of mine and asked them to wake me up in an hour. They asked if I was ok, and I said I think so I'm just really tired for some reason. I fell asleep and woke up an hour and a half later to my phone. He apologized for it being later than I had asked him to call but he felt I needed a bit more than an hour. I got up grabbed a cup of coffee and down the road I went. About half way to my delivery there had been a pretty bad accident 2 trucks had collided one went off the side of the road and down into a ravine and the other went across the median and rolled onto the other side of the highway. After talking to some drivers that had been there since it had happened, if I hadn't gotten tired and stopped when I did I possibly would have been in the middle of it. Maybe it's a coincidence, but I really don't believe in those anymore. All things happen for a reason, even though we may not know it at the time it happens.

I know that there are many angels out there on those highways. Some are recognized and some are not. There are many things that people do, and expect nothing in return, sometimes all you can do is say thank you, even though it doesn't seem like enough.

I have many medication allergies, mostly antibiotics, local anesthetics and pain killers. Other than those it's only bee/wasp stings and mustard. The Dr's usually ask me what they can give me when I get sick because I can't take most of the things they'd prescribe rolling eyes

We all have some sort of baggage from our past. We don't become adults without it. The question is whether we accept it or not. If we can accept ourselves with our baggage of the past and not dwell in it then all will be well.

When we can't, won't or don't accept that we have gone through what we have in order to get where we are today or become who we are, then we tend to become self destructive and sabotage everything in our lives. It becomes the "not good enough" syndrome.

People that have been in abusive relationships tend to have major trust issues and it's very difficult to earn their trust and it's rarely freely given. It's a difficult bridge to build and cross, though it can be done if you're patient and love that person unconditionally.

Would I consider a relationship of this type...I'm not sure. Being that I've been down the road of abusive relationships all my life and sought help and got through the largest hurdles, I'd be hesitant because I know how hard it can be to go through the roller coaster of emotions and may want to help them more than I should. I would probably be better off as a friend in that situation instead of emotionally tied into the situation.

Would it be of concern...Only if they have not sought help and cleared the wreckage of their past. If they have not dealt with the past in a healthy way then how could they possibly be able to form a healthy relationship in the present!?!

A present can look beautiful on the outside...It's when you open it up and look in that you find out whether or not there is true beauty within.
