Hi I'm Chris and I've always had a strong physical attraction as well as emotional connections with women who are older than me 40-55 in particular.
For some reason I've always had this sense in my spirit and personal theory that women just grow in beauty with their age. And they grow in wisdom as well. So the main problem I'm finding is that most older women tend to have an insecure thought that I won't be attracted to them in a couple of years which confuses me and my personal beliefs. Other than my passion for singing, songwriting, and the ocean, I'm very passionate about communication importance, honesty, and back and foot massages by candlelight. Why am I not meeting many older women who would appreciate a guy like this???
Can anyone enlighten me??

Oh My!!!!!! Let's see
dunno
1. Women mature far greater than men...even age my age...and I have found that men older than I am are silly boys as well
2. Common interests
3. Relationships are MORE THAN physical attraction!
4. Communication... not just sex
5. personal responsibility in and out of the relationship
6. Commonality

I personally don't have the insecurity that a younger man would loose interest in me, I would loose interest in him! No common ground to build on. professor

Turn off you phone for a date. It's polite and you won't be bothered. And if he won't leave you alone, get a restraining order and get on with your life.

I know and I have to leave it on because of my child at home in case anything happens and he needs me. He's old enough to be alone 17, and the ex: he wasn't angry he said he loves me and was missing me and wanted to talk. My prob is that after 7 years he knows my weak spots and he knows that I love him. I'm slowly moving forward, through it all!

The Paintbrush

I keep my paintbrush with me, wherever I may go
in case I need to cover up
so the real me doesn't show.

I'm so afraid to show you me; afraid of what you you'll do;
you just might laugh , or say mean things,
I'm afraid I might lose you.

I('d like to remove my paintcoats,
to show you the real, true me,
but I want you to try and understand
I need you to like what you see.

So if you'll be patient and close your eyes'
I'll strip off my coats real slow,
please understand how much it hurts
to let the real me show.

Now my paintcoats are all stripped off.
I feel naked, bare and cold.
If you still love me with all you see
your my friend as pure as gold.

I need to save my paintbrush though,
and hold it in my hand;
I need to keep it handy------
someone might not understand.

So please protect me, my dear friend;
and thanks for loving me true;
but please let me keep my paintbrush with me,
until I love me too.

First question I have is did you write it? If you did then tip hat to you!

For it is one of the most profound poems I have ever read. professor

This describes the man that I love completely. He is so afraid of commitment and so afraid of loving.... he doesn't even love himself. He hides behind the "paintcoats". I wish he could see that no matter what he has done to destroy our relationship that I do and always will love him.....completely, totally unconditionally. sad flower
I just want to say thank you.

A couple of women were playing golf one sunny Saturday morning. The first of the twosome teed off and watched in horror as her ball headed directly toward a foursome of men playing the next hole.

The ball hit one of the men, and he immediately clasped his hands together at his groin, fell to the ground and proceeded to roll around in evident agony.

The woman rushed down to the man and immediately began to apologize.
"Please allow me to help. I'm a physical therapist and I know I could relieve your pain if you'd allow me,"
she told him earnestly.

"Ummph, oooh, nnooo, I'll be alright. I'll be fine in a few minutes,"
he replied breathlessly as he remained in the fetal position still clasping his hands together in his groin.

But she persisted, and he finally allowed her to help him. She gently took his hands away and laid them to the side, she loosened his pants, and she put her hands inside. She began to massage him.

She then asked him
"How does that feel?"
He replied
"It feels great, but my thumb still hurts like hell." thumbs up

wow!

Something you wrote doesn't make sense to me.

"Some places as high as 5% goes out to bussers, hosts,
bartenders? [that may not seem like much but do the math... $100.00 dollar check, and you tip $5.00, 5% of 100 is $5 We see no money on that tip)"
Are you saying tip share (a basically good idea) is a percentage of the bill and not a percentage of the tip? If so, this makes ZERO sense! It CAN'T be true!!! If the bill $100.00 with a 5% tip share and you only get a $4.00 tip that would mean YOU have to pay the bussers bartenders etc. $1.00 from your own pocket. That is just absurd!

I think the owner of the establishment should pay the staff sufficiently so that the whole concept of tipping can be eliminated completely. He/she can adjust prices to reflect this new scheme. Sound crazy? Think again. I would definately patronize a good restaurant that banned tipping. The whole concept of tipping is onerous to me. Why should I be required to pay somebody for doing their job? Their employer is already paying them.

You are not required to tip. However what the poster is saying is industry wide. Servers do not even make minimum wage unless a patron tips. Tip sharing is mandatory in restaurants.

TIP for the Patrons:

Tipping is NOT a city in China!

I worked many years as a server and the general public is cruel to servers. If I get real bad service I do leave less tip, however I know what they go through and how hard they really do work and I am a good tipper.

Thanks a lot for the advice. I really do appreciate all the responses I have to this thread.

Sparky,

Your real estate attorney should be able to find the cloud on the title and as far as your title insurance is concerned make sure that he has a copy of it from when you purchased the home. He should be able to confirm if there were any discrepancies back 6 years ago and who would be accountable for the issue now at hand. I know about not being one to sue and in real estate you are looking at allot of time and money to get this cleared. Unfortunately with the real estate boom that was happening there have been many shall we say unprofessional people on all sides of many transactions. I hope this was not your case. If the title insurance was written as clear when it in fact had clouds then I would suggest that they be held accountable. It may cost you in the beginning, and you purchased the insurance for a reason. Also, the title insurance is there to protect the lender. The lender is not protected with clouds or with a faulty policy. If this is the case you may also have some recourse on that end as well. The lender when you purchased the home went into 1st position with a clear title. If the was anything ie; mechanics lien, 2nd mortgage from previous owner, easement infringement, etc, your lender could have not gone in 1st position without it being cleared. That is why I suggested you to get a copy of the title search that was just done. It will tell you what kind of lean is against the property, what date it was added and who added it.

Good Luck my new friend. cheers
