I thought I met the love of my life, but it didn't work out. People have told me she wasn't the one for you.

They also said "it will happen for you" I have even dispensed that advice myself to others who have been looking and had no success.

Do you believe there is someone for everyone? Do you think it "will happen" for everyone who is looking for love? Maybe there are some people on this Earth who are destined to be alone all their life, even though they do not want to be. Do you believe that could be true?

I believe that there are many people that we are compatible with and go well with. It sucks when relationships are over, but each one teaches us something. Each experience inriches our lives in some way or another. Some people will probably stay alone. Most likely though most people who want/need somebody will find them. There are so many people out there looking for someone else the odds are in their favor.

We all come into this life with a different set of lessons. I think the people who come into our lives are all apart of that. So maybe some of us are meant to spend life with one person for a very long time while others are meant to spend shorter spans of time with several people. Some people also need the challenge of standing on their own two feet, but I would suspect that if you're not happy on your own then most likely your not one of those people and most likely you won't end up alone forever.

there's a book out there called, "he's just not into you" might wanna read it...it makes a lot of sense, not an easy read though.........either that or it's a saying by a comedian, either way...

I've read that book. It's a really good one. Of course they do say in it that "busy" is just a four letter word for not into you.

It could be that he thinks that now that he supposedly has you as a girlfriend that he doesn't have to work so hard to get you anymore. It could also be that he's having second thoughts about having made a commitment to someone he's never actually met in person. You only live 2 hours away and it's taken you a whole month to find real time together? That's a tough situation. Have you told him that you don't feel like your communicating frequently enough anymore?

I hardly consider it fooling around to suggest that people should take responsiblity for their own evil actions.

As for what I said about Jesus and the devil. Yeshua, commonly known as Jesus, was a great man and an incredible teacher. He had alot of great things to say about how society should treat each other. Maybe he was or wasn't the son of God, the documents that eventually became the bible were picked and chosen from random documents circulated amoung the people of the time. Nothing written by anyone who knew him was included and nothing written by Yeshua himself was ever found in spite of the fact that he came from an excessively wealthy family and would have definately been literate. Anyways, I hold him and his message in high esteem I greatly respect what he had to say.

On the other hand, I don't believe in the Devil. He makes only one appearance in the old testamate in the story of Job. You see zero appearances of demons in the old testamate. During those times people believed that when something bad happened to someone that it was because they sinned and incurred God's wrath. The belief in demons became popular in pagan religeons just before the time of Jesus and thus we see that influence in the writing of the new testement. During that time people believed that all illnesses and inflictions were not punishment from god, but the work of evil spirits so when you see Jesus casting out demons what it really means is that he was curing the sick of their ailments. People of that time didn't understand the concepts of germs and mental illnesses and even if Jesus did, he couldn't have explained such things to the uneducated people of the time, they would have simply discredited him as insane and ignored all his teachings and that would have defeated his purpose.

Why even bother making such a stupid statement. God didnt leave he is with us every day. Sad that you are too impressd with yourself to see it. God just gave us laws to live by. You think the devil didnt issue any commandments, you must not know about much about government or local laws. You have to obey them.

The government is fully responsible for their own evils/shortcommings just like every other human on this planet. The devil is typically a convenient excuse for anyone who wants to blame someone other than themselves for their own bad behavior.

But if you don't believe in the Devil then it's either Jesus or hanging with yourself...

I love Lord of the Rings. I read the books before the movies came out. Harry Potter was awsome. I liked Eregon, but strangely it remind me alot of Star Wars. 10th Kindgom is a must see. It's been so long since I saw it I'd forgotten all about it. I've also never lost my love for The Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal , the original Never Ending Story, or The Princess Bride.

I definately believe in ghosts. I encountered one in a hotel room once. Why is it when this stuff goes down it always happens when you're alone?

I tend to get along best with men a few years younger than me. However my last BF only 3 years younger than me (I'm 32) acted like I was going to hit metopause tomorrow. He is 29 and was telling me I was old.

Yeah I would have given him another chance too. Could be worse, I once had a guy friend that while he really liked his GF and was truely only seeing her he was so bad with names he just called her sweetheart when he forgot so she wouldn't feel bad.
