OK, this is a serious question. And since I am very new here, I am quite hesitant to ask this. But...

About 2 hours ago, on another site a young lady initiated contact with me. In checking out her profile, she is VERY pretty and like me, in terrific shape and a non-smoker. We seem to share a lot of common interests. She lives only about 20 minutes from me.
Sounds great so far, right ?

Here's the issue. She's younger, than the age range I set for ideal.
My question is this; I am 43 and will be 44 in December.
What do YOU think is the youngest woman a man of my age should date ? Don't get gross. I assure you she is an adult.

Since I love humor, you can feel free to joke if you like, but I am also interested in your honest opinion. I mean the ultimate decision is mine, but I am at least open to advice. I did reply to her, as I do with ALL people who initiate contact (except obvious scammers).
I personally think it is rude not to respond.

Regardless, what do you think is the lowest age of a woman a 43 /44 year old guy should date ?

Really it depends on what you're comfortable with. Take things really slow and pay close attention to how well you really get along on the emotional/mental level. Keep in mind too that the younger you go the more you're going to want to tear your hair out. I'm only 32 and I've never dated anyone more than 9 years younger than me and I've found that more than 5 years my junior ever really works. There's just nothing in common and not enough stimulating conversation outside the bedroom.

Just take things slow and see how you feel about it after you have a chance to get to know the person. Give yourself the time to know them.

Some, it might not work as well anymore as it used to...but that doesn't make them "dead". Trust me. (Sometimes it just takes the right woman.)

True True, one of my exes was dead at 28. The desire was there but he kept experiencing frequent randome equipment failures. He had the same problem with the girl before me who he was madly in love with and wanted to marry. She didn't marry him. Poor guy.

No it's not that I'm refering to woman as pieces of meat. I'm jsut saying that from my own experiences. I've had a olt of bad guys come and go, and i'm sick of what people think of me that's all. I'm happy for people who can enjoy sex. I wish I was like that!! I'm sorry if I offended you

You're still young. Women don't really hit their sexual peak untill their 30's. YOu'll get more interested in it as you get older.

I agree with you on one thing though. I'm tired of the guys who only want one thing. I'm not saying all guys are like that, but I'm tired of the ones who are. I'm tired of being picked up by guys that only want me to come visit them at their place after midnight and can't even be bothered to take me on a real date.

That is the perfect thing to start with. If he's into you he'll let you know. Just go with it. If you don't ever feel anything fine. If you do even better. I've met guys before that I didn't feel anything for at first, but then later I totally loved.

Best of luck to you.

He'll probably get off! It's rather disgusting really, all you have to do is cry mental illness and you can basically do whatever you want. Maybe we should go back to the time when we kept all mentally ill people locked up in sanitariums instead of letting them walk around and decided when and when not to take their meds.

So...what if you were a mentally ill person? I guess it wouldn't be so great for mentally people to be locked up in a sanitarium like the olden days. You know they tortured people there and called it treatment. I bet it would be a different story if such treatment applied to you.

Mental Illness shouldn't be an automatic get out of jail free card. I've only known a few bipolar people in my lifetime. I wouldn't call them leagally insane, but I wouldn't cross them either. The ones I've known had an above wicked sense of vengance. One was an ex boyfriends mother who tried to break us up and get us both fired from our jobs because she got mad at him for not doing some chores. The other was a friend of mine who's ex wife planted cocain on him and called the cops causing him years in jail and the loss of his buisness. I forgot what it was she was getting back at him for.

It's a horrible shame that he chose to attack that girl. I'd definately say that his illness, lack of medication, and alchohal had a part in it, but he still did what he did. He didn't have to quit his medication, he didn't have to drink. The whole thing never had to happen. It'll be up to the courts who have the whole story and all the facts to decide what justice is in this case. The rest of us should just pray for that girls family. 90% burns is not something someone survives. Even if she does it's going to be a tough life.

What a crappy set of choices.

In one corner we have Warmonger McCain who thinks the solution to crime is to roll into crime ridden neighborhoods in an Iraq style "surge" and start a police state.

In the other corner we have Bilderburg's sweetheart Obama giving speeches in Berlin about the New World Order under the Victory Column.

Why couldn't who's actually looking to improve America, get nominated.

I'm writing in Ron Paul. He at least wants to help America be free. Not a police state and not part of a world government.

How do you guys think anything is going to change if noone is ever made to answer for their crimes? Why do you think we keep getting the same bs over and over again? It's because they can do pretty much whatever they want to and never have to answer for it. If someone actually got charged the others in the future might shape up.

Keep us all posted but their are loads of get out he will try to use, in that he didnt take the country to war, the congress voted and authorised military action.

What will be interesting is if the "good old boys" on the hill manage to hang him out to dry or not.

My monies on he will get off scot free....

The problem is, this man lied, alot of people are dead now because of his war just so he and his friends could make a boatload of money. He has given our country a bad reputation. Something needs to be done. There needs to be some type of accountability for his actions. We need to send a message to future presidents that this type of misconduct is not acceptable. Otherwise we're going to be right back here again in the future.

I wouldn't say it was unfaithful. I was watching porn with a guy once though and this chick was barking like a chihuahua(sp) and I couldn't stop laughing and he got really pissed at me. I hate it when men take porn so seriouse that they'll get angry with you over it.

I agree and not only that, but the event would have been very localized since they didn't have the kind of media we do today.

I want to know what happened to things Jesus himself would have written. He came from a wealthy family and would have been literate.

Ok hold on, they're saying that these were kids with learning disabilities and they're this smart? Something's up there.

3 of the kids brough a paperweight the tape and the knife. They should definately be in trouble.

Talk is talk. When I was in elementry school we used to sing stupid songs that went "glory glory hallalujia the teacher hit me with the ruler I met her at the bank with a German army tank and she aint my teacher anymore!" My mother even knew that song from her elementry school years. She's in her mid 50's now. Hating the teacher's been around forever, but noone ever really meant to act on or harm anybody. Who hasn't in their schooltime either drawn or laughed at a drawing of their most hated teacher with an arrow through their head. It doesn't mean you or that person would actually shoot them. I remember in school kids that used to plot to fill the teachers chair with thumbtacks. Nobody ever did it. The rest of these kids were probably just as harmless. Like they said that one kid left the fake gun home.

It's easy to blame the TV and the video games. If the parents are there and involved in these kids lives the TV has no power. Unfortunately the economy doesn't allow anyone to stay home and raise the kids anymore so we can't really blame the parents either. We're all screwed by the system. For the record, there is far more violence in Japanese entertainment, where many of these videogames come from, yet juvinile crime is practically non existant in that country. What are we doing wrong over here?

As for the people who were saying you weren't as smart as these kids when you were younger.......You weren't as smart as a class full kids with learning disabilities? Wow....

Mean and smart are two different things.

to take one anonymous phone call that may have been fake and take hundreds of children from age 2 wks old etc

thats just bull

even frickin 'proven' terrorists found in this country get more due process than that

malarkey

and if there was concern about abuse you dont telegraph your punches (as an agency)

if there is something wrong there it will stop now and not be found out since they know they are being observed

i mean how was this carried out effectively for the good of the children?

it wasnt

thanks ship ive been afraid to thread on this miscarriage of justice
its unconstitutional--maybe something is wrong-doesnt mean we can institute martial law on a state level on an anonymous phone call-id sue the pants off the agency and the state and give some of the money to the volunteer lawyers.

believe me the ACLU is already lining up a case

I don't agree with the views of the polygamist sect, I don't agree with the underaged marraiges and the whole thing is a cult. However they did not use due process in this raid. Individual cases should be looked at. The whole thing is a bad situation for the parents and the children. The only lives they've ever known have been ripped apart. Alot of you are looking at this like it's a group of weirdos that should have been busted up and that they got what they deserved, but you're not looking at the fact that these people were illeagally raided without due proccess and if the government gets away with it here , they won't stop here.

Did you know they raided the place with tanks? Why does the police department need tanks against the general public? Did you know the tanks had hitmarks on the side of them? Just like military vehicles on a battlefeild bragging about how many enemies they've killed these police tanks have hit counts bragging about killing civillians.

take a look...

Okay, so here's the topic: "bottom lines," "ultimatums," or...reasonable requests. How much are we entitled to ask of another person regarding changes in that person which may make them more compatible with (or approved by) you? Is it possible to reasonably make such requests/demands? Never reasonable?

What are your experiences with these kinds of "if you do this or change that I would find you acceptable" situations?
