I don't see love as having sight, I see it as having a sense of committment. If you love someone, that person is the apple of your eye and you have accepted them for who they are, otherwise you would not be in love. How well you both communicate to each other and treat each other is what keeps you strong. Once that breaks down, then you have to make the hard desicions.

It seems to me that everyone deserves some common courtesy. You should treat people like you want to be treated. We are all here looking for friends, relationships and whatever, why make it harder?

I don't know if it's just me, or this has happened to other members. You make contact and have conversations with people, and things look like they are going fine. All of a sudden, there is no contact, and you never hear from them again. Wouldn't it be considered common courtesy to just say, "I am not interested anymore, nice meeting you?

For me, online dating is more miss than hit. 80% of the people that you reach out to do not respond. And maybe 10% of the people that you do open a dialouge with turn out to be nice people. The one thing I have noticed is a person drops their intrest, they do not have the commonn courtesy to let you know.

I do not agree. We all know that there are scammers and sicko's out there. But it is the same as dealing with people in person. You just have to use your best judgement and common sense. I have met quite a few nice people online ans I am for it.
