Another day with rain and thunder. Getting pretty loud and unfortunately because I live just minutes from lake Ontario it just lingers forever.....

John has been here for quite some time while serving in Iraq. Over the years he has been a frequent visitor of the forum.

John is one of our American friends from CS and is currently on leave from Iraq.

Hi everyone, it is afternoon here and a pretty nice one. Seems that it is finally a day without rain or thunder in the sky. I like the lightning but the thunder is crazy here because of the lake. Not too keen on that.

Gotta clean up the pool and have a look at my vegetable garden, seems to be overgrowing..... too much rain.

Went to Sick Kids with Kahlil and he doesn't have to come back till next July. Very happy about that. Don't like to go to Toronto in the middle of winter wondering if we are gonna be stuck with snow or freezing rain.

Morning!!! Definitely need more coffee..... Got a busy day ahead of me. Need to switch the kids room around *sigh* that is gonna be such a big job. The biggest part is to get myself started.....

In the afternoon I hope to go to the repatriation of our Canadian soldier who comes home at 2pm.
Hopefully the weather is gonna clear up. But rain or shine, a lot of people will show up anyway.

My two oldest children live with their dad. That was the hardest decision I ever had to make. Also because they are about an hour and a half away. The decision wasn't made for myself but more for their safety and it was suppose to be temporarely. That was almost 2 years ago and they want to stay there because of the friends they have made and they feel safe there. I still feel "funny" telling people I have one child at home fulltime and the other ones in the weekend.

I'm just telling you this story because I have the feeling that people think what they wanna think or wanna believe. And really does it matter what the outside world thinks of our decisions?????

This mother you are talking about should decide whatever feels right in her gut. Whatever the reason is........

Morning, it is raining here too. Haven't much planned for today. Need to do some laundry and should clean up some stuff before Jennifer and Daniel come home. THey are coming tonight after supper. We haven't seen them for two weeks, they went to they States with their dad and grandparents. Kahlil is driving me insane by asking every 10 seconds how much longer *sigh*
