Oh, is this a dating site?

Silly me, I thought it was a friendship site.

Seriously, I don't think dating sites actually work in the way they are intended, but that's ok, friendship and fun are beneficial too, and if one in, what a million? actually do hook up, then great.

hi jan,i agree with you completely.Ive been on C.S. for about 2 years and not (so far)found anyone to date, but as you said it really is a friendship thing.cheers

Describe what you're wearing right now... be as specific as you like. Only say "clothes" if you want to be uberishly lame.

Me, a white adidas shirt and faded stonewashed jeans... (oh, and some super sexy Hanes white ankle socks. )
faded jeans and a faded orange vest......wine

today I was in a reataurant and saw a beautiful waitress. I asked her to marry me. Can you believe she said no!! So I asked her if she would just like to fool around a bit and started to get a warm feeling in my crotch, already! I soon discovered the warm feeling was the soup she poured on my lap!!
maybe she was looking for an excuse to consider your marriage "credentials" grin did she clean up the soup?????wine

I received another call very late last night - she has been stabilized. This will help the doctors in going about their work. I talked to my father for about an hour last night - I think it helped a lot.

In short, your thoughts and prayers worked. I doubt there's such a thing as a full recovery from this sort of thing, but a blessing has revealed itself in the form of time.

I appreciate the thoughts about going out there, and I shall. My relationship with my family is complex, and not of the typical dynamic. We're shooting a commercial in Chicago the week after next, and unless there's a change between now and then, I'll simply drive to Detroit from there.

Thank you all, mere words simply cannot express how much I appreciate it.

In response to:
I just received a call about an hour ago from my brother back in Michigan. My mother is in intensive care. Apparently, her blood pressure was dangerously low, and her kidneys and liver shut down. She's on a respirator. That's all I know right now. They are running a battery of tests and working on stabilizing her.

I'll know more tonight or tomorrow, and if I'll be scheduling an emergency trip to Detroit.

I'm usually a bit more private than this, but there are a number of you I consider friends. She can use the prayers.

Thank you.

Robert
