Hi All concerned about being saved,
What one really needs to be saved is love for God and one another. If you love one another, you love God.
If you fast 40 days before Easter or Christmas- but you have no love, it will not help you.
If you pray day and night, but you have no compassion for other people, praying will not help you.
If you read the Bible day and night, but you are self-centered and proud, reading the Bible will not save you.
If you go to church every day and ligth a candle, but you see no pain of other people, this will not save you either.
If you give your money to church but you envy people, money will not save you.
Moral: Love Thy God and thy neighbor, and God will save you. Did you know that Lord loves us 100 times more than we love ourselves.
Did you know that God saves people through tribulations and sorrows. They are the bitter pills that heal our soul. If you have tribulations and adversaries, you have compassion for other people. If you are poor and starve, you understand what a hungry person feels like. Love your tribulations and sorrows and thank the Lord for them because through them He is healing us. I know it is easy said than done.
Another thing is being humble. Humility -s the ability to do what you don't want to do.
