dunno what the laws are in the US but i have a friend (who's a lone parent) who's had his children taken from him TWICE while investigations were made into allegations of neglect and beatings. i've known this guy (and even shared a place with him) for over 20 years and know how much he loves his kids. he spent over 2 years fighting for custody and getting a place sorted for them and i still visit 3-4 times per week and i know these allegations were untrue. however, the law says the kids had to be removed for their own safety until they feel it's safe to return them. needless to say, his kids are now back with him but it was a harrowing time for him.

yep. it usually occurs when you're thinking about a special person and wishing he/she was there with you and no matter how many friends you have, they don't seem to compensate for the special one you'd rather have there with you.hug

i am not looking for atewntion
i was the second one to post here way long before they postedd, but they desided to atack me
it is not new, those are the same one that are always looking at my profile to checkj where i post and post agains whatever i post in any thread

as for the e-mail, in th e-mail i sent i asked them NOT to write me back ANDT to respect my wishes
i wrtoe about something personal i didnt wanted to post in public. there was nothing to debate there, no need to wriite me back, no ned to talk about her dates, or her dating expectations, i do not e-mail people in general, i do not contavt ladies in general most of the times i only answr mails i receive. i am not the person i aproach females in dating sites, whnever iread a post that i like it very much i send a mail complimenting her, for the post, and most of the times i end with a "please dont write me back",, and they respect my wishes, but the females that were atacking me here are the ones not respecting i dont like to get mails
so, who is the abuser? my mails were polite, and my request was done in a polie way
if it was not the case, why an answer and start talking about dating and dates....
food for your thought

so people disagree with your views (which seem extreme), hey welcome to reality! you are entitled to your views as is everyone else but when you attack people who have been abused and even suggest that it's their own fault then people will naturally start forming opinions and attacking you. women don't go looking for guys who'll beat them up and control them. perhaps you might like to consider doing a poll on this if you believe otherwise. on second thoughts, perhaps you need some serious help if you believe otherwise! as for the e-mails, you invaded their privacy FIRST by sending them mail uninvited then you request that they do not reply. so basically, what you want is to have your say in private and not allow them the RIGHT to reply? that's what it amounts to. remember that these women have been there. they know first hand how people/situations can be manipulated and they are the ones who are the experts, not you!

I personally think that the internet has opened up our backyards. Now we can communicate all over the world.
And there is no law or rule of life that says your soulmate, the other half that completes who you are has to live next door to you. If you meet someone from another town, state or country. and you have feelings then go with those feelings. I don't belive there should be a limit on what a person should do for love, if they want it.
relationships are a give and take thing, if your not willing to to go and take the chance, then your not really in love, or willing to go out of your way for love.

I am not a man, and the question was put to men. But There is a very special man who I have been talking to, and he plans on visiting me soon. And to me that shows he is willing to put an effort into a relationship. And after he visits, if he still wants me, I am more then willing to put my efforts in as well. As he wont be able to move here to the states becuase he has kids, that I would never ask him to even think of leaving behind. I not only would go to visit him, but to move there and start a new life with him.
And I hope he reads this. I hope he realizes what he means to me.
