i can see why people would make light of this and post witty remarks but the fact this guy knows so much about you and particularly your children worries me a bit. you really should get to the bottom of it.

How do you decide what score to rate photos with?

With me it's the smile.

No smile = low
Some smile = med
Good smile = high

compromise. consider a new career - if career is more important than your partner then the marriage is doomed.

i think it's usually wise to remember in situations like this that this is a dating site where people are looking for someone whom they feel compatible and when you are getting to know someone you must always be aware that the chances are that he/she will also be getting to know others as well as you. you can't 'cheat' on someone you haven't committed to so people will usually keep their options open until they're sure they want committment.

i have a brother who's a vegan. his wife and kid are also vegans. they just have very strong marals when it comes to cruelty to animals. i agree with him but alas i don't have the willpower. my other brother became a veggie because he had strong morals concerning the exploitation and profiteering. however, he'd happily eat meat if someone were to go out and kill it for eating without profit.

What are you doing sitting in a corner? People need to have interests other then each other in a healthy relationship. As long as you're just sitting around, he probably feels safe doing what he wants... but if you were to get up and say "I'm going out" give him a kiss and go... to the movies, to visit a friend, take a course... he might start becoming more interested in what you're doing and less interested in his computer.

Good Luck!

pretty much along the same line as my thinking. just because a couple become a couple doesn't mean that you need to live in each other's pockets. i for one need some time to myself to do things i enjoy. i'd hope that any new partner would have things she enjoys doing by herself or with friends. in an ideal world she'd show an interest in my hobbies and viceversa. however, if this isn't possible then there's nothing wrong with giving each other a bit of space.

Until last weekend that is

to be honest, it has been unusually warm in aberdeen over the last week or so. i even had the kids out playing at the park and sat there in a t-shirt having a picnic with them. VERY unusual for this time of year. the evenings have been getting pretty frosty though.

global warming/cooling is a natural phenomenon. happens regularly whether there are co2 emissions or not. i'm inclined to think the whole carbon emission thing is a bit of a red herring. however, i don't see any harm in reducing pollution as long as the powers that be don't go ripping us off and lying to us. jmo.
