The police make sure to have extra dispatches out on full moons because they have a lot more action on those nights than the rest of the month. If that doesn't answer your question I'm not sure what will.

ok here's the deal. name a city beginning with the next letter (add country which city belongs to) - ONLY, you're not allowed to enter a city within a country which has already been mentoned

i'll start, naturally with ABERDEEN (scotland)

next city will begin with B (and so on) and can't be in scotland since that country has already been chosen. lets see if this is even possible ;)

When I was in Australia a few years ago I discovered that the words

"knocked up"

has a different meanings.

I Australia if someone referrs to being "knocked up" it means that they are tired out.

I heard in Britian if someone says "come knock me will you" It means come knock on my door and have a friendly visit.

Here in Canada when we refer to someone being knocked up. We are usually referring to an unmarried woman who got herself pregnant.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me the Brits and Aussies sometimes wondering what they said wrong.

fraid you're wrong about the brits. if someone here is knocked up it means they're pregnant

in my opinion a date is when 2 people who feel an attraction towards each other spend time getting to know each other better. personally, i tend to try to enjoy a first date as much as i can whether i'm still attracted or not. no point in taking the time to look good then wasting the night cos she isn't quite what you expected wink

lol i'm SERIOUS (shock, horror). if the moon has the ability to shift oceans then affecting the water in a human shouldn't be too much trouble. i'm convinced this IS the case. just curious to know how/if it affects behaviour.

does it affect human behaviour? if it affects the tides the way it does then surely the gravitational pull MUST have some effect on the human body since we're 2/3 water.
