Well withoput hearing first hand from the officers, there was obvious cause to be so forceful. Now don't get me wrong, I've been around long enough to see what rogue cops can do and yes they do it and if unjustified, they should be charged accordingly to the laws we have here. Assault with a club is a felony last time I checked. Only a small percentage of law enforcement engage in this and sometimes without any of us knowing they might be justified. I'd wait until the trial and see all the evidence before I convict them, but the tape doesn't lie.

I grew up in the 60's, Eisenhour, Kennedy, Johnson, then tricky Dick My family was large and they were Democrats, believed in living off what the govt could provide. I went to Nam, so my political views are not etched in stone. I don't believe in hand outs. I don't believe in taxing the wealthy to provide for illegal aliens here. I work just like the next guy and make my own way, independent of my govt. There are far too many that refuse to do it and don't help themselves.

When the planes flew into the world trade center and then DC and the one we lost in PA. I assume Bush had enough and wanted some butts. He got Sadam, he has broken some of Al queda. I support his efforts and those of our soldiers and military, which by the way are all volunteers. I was drafted. Knowing back then what I know know, I would have a problem going to Nam. Some of the movies you see are pretty much accurate about the things US soldiers did there, innocent victims, we go and fight them in the jungle. I'm not making excuses. War is bad no matter where and innocent lives are taken. Because we committed our military to stop terrorism, many more innocent lives have been lost and it will continue. I wish Bush would channel some of his efforts on the economy, the oil situation and things pertinent to us that live in the land of the free. I support our military no matter what. sure it is expensive but I can go to bed each night with my doors unlocked and feel at ease.

Blame Gdub. If you put it into perspective, yes it's high, yes it's a pain, but since I use almost 720 gallons a year to just get to my work, 80 miles per day, the difference in cost is roughly now $65.00 per month out of my pocket. I try not to dwell on this as it's been going on for years, the oil companies, Entron, every one wants to steal your money. I guess the only real thing you can do is change your life to keep from being gouged, don't drive, let your house get too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter, they have us by the balls and there isn't anything the administration here is doing about it other than beg Saudi to produce more gas but we have sufficient oil here to meet our needs, yet the folks that think they know it all, don't want off shore drilling, using the oil we have. I don't agree with that but I can't change it.

Fortunately I can retire soon and maybe move to Venezuela, $.12 a gallon, nice weather, maybe a golf course and hopefully some Pina Coladas on the beach.

Here we are fortunate to have gas reaching $4.00 per gallon when it is so much higher around the world

As I stated, when someone messes with me, they will get my revenge, or get even. If it is not attractive it's okay, they shouldn't have messed in the first place. I was raised this way and am sure not going to change at this point in my life.

I recall a lady pulling in front of my car at a filling station, to fill her tank. when i confronted her she called the manager. she was wrong and then helped herself to an outside source to confirm her messing with me. she then insulted the car I was driving, no biggie, I like driving trash as i commute 80 miles a day, but it makes for a nice story and even though all this stuff is in the forums, I'm cool with it. I'll never surprise anyone as I try to be honest, no matter if it's my good qualities or bad. As Doc Holiday said in Tombstone, I'll be your huckleberry

Fork with em. Is it worth it. Hell yes. I go about my life fat dumb and happy until someone forks with me. This is a big mistake. I'll give you the shirt off my back, I don't go out to make enemies, everyone wants to be liked and for some indiscriminant reason some one chose to mess with the A type personality, an innocent email and it is not the first time. What really rubs my craw as these people hiding behind keyboards put out some crap and then run and hide or call the law, or webmaster. Gutless. I don't make this stuff up, just being honest, what you see is what you get.

Perhaps you could start with re-assessing this and previous posts of yours? Your tone has come across a little abrasive at times, in my view.... many people check out the Forums but do not post, they may have picked up on this...? It could well be that this means your mails may feel a little ascerbic to the reader also?? Worth a re-check...?
