If you would substitute the word "ladies" with "people"., this might be more valid.....because men are just as guilty!

Not!!! I never ever run smack to someone and then block them from a reply, sounds like, oh never mind but the lady was 51 looking for someone bet 40 and 50, in a Southern State and within 75 miles of her location. I merely suggested she expand her horizons about age and distance. I doubt that is worthy of the comment I got and then blocking me. See I don't go looking for trouble but if it finds me, I'll do battle with anyone.

Her comments" you should leave me alone, everyone has their opinions and I didn't ask for yours" , blocked. Nice lady indeed.

Wow how do the folks in europe afford the gas??? I drive eighty miles a day and it pisses me off but it's the only way to get to my job. Now Venezuela is looking good for retiring with my gas driven golf cart. hope they have courses over there. Can they still steal property if they go national on you?

doesn't matter where you are if you are with that right person! A place doesn't give you what someone special can!

excellent point and very valid in my case, any decision would be a mutual one.

Any where with a tropical climate, Panama, costa Rica, Mexico, columbia, thailand, even consider Texas but it gets cold there and oh God the rain and bugs. Even Venezuela, they have their own oil. Spain and or Italy are not out of the question.

Hmm I'll try to be nice this time. Been around the world most very good experiences and although I didn't meet the one I wanted, I guess i did but couldn't afford her, most had computers and continued checking there email, some even shared some of the things men would say to them. I wouldn't expect them to give up anything unless we were serious and I myself wouldn't have a problem with that.

I guess the worst is one smoked very much and i ddin't know until I travelled 6000 miles to meet her. One other was a bit bigger than she let on but by far the most lovely of all of them and we still communicate, somehow as I don't speak Spanish and she doesn't speak English, we manage to translate though.

I'm still here, sooner or later one will be the one, now that's optimism.

u still got those tickets slick? i'm planning on going to meet someone special quite soon ;)

No way I cancelled within 24 hours and there choices were to give me a voucher in her name and she could tranfer it to me, like what were they thinking and the other option was to get 7 one hundred dollar vouchers that i could use one at a time. I challenged the charge on my credit card and hopefully I will prevail. I have all the email correspondence as evidence. I'd glady work out a deal if they weren't such buttholes about changing the name on the ticket. I think it's just to steal money

I have a feeling the guys don't appreciate this joke or Just don't get it.

Hey were you married to a golfer by chance???? Problem here is they, the USGA ruled out oversized drivers several years ago, yes i know it's a joke. I used to carry a 52" and it was the longest SHAFT I could buy at the time and I'm only 5'7", but could hit that sucker on many par four greens, oh the good old days, par fives were a joke. Now the max length is 48", thanks USGA you take the fun out of the game for us old farts.

You're so mean....lol Now if I were to meet someone who lived in another state, or in the UK, if there was an offer to send money for a plane ticket, I'd prefer them to actually purchase the ticket & email me the confirmation

Ha been there done that. Once the ticket was purchased she said the government required stf sufficient travel funds, ($500.00) pounds, and I verified with posters here that it was bunk. Haven't heard from her since or whoever it was and now am battling to get my money refunded from the airline comapny and I told them the story yet they will not have it. Maybe it's the airline doing this to steal our money, smiles.

But, the language.... Seeing from another thread what most Americans seem to think about learning a foreign language... It's not like at 60 (having never done it before) you suddenly will be able to acquire a new one quickly and easily unless you have the talent for it. And believe me, living in a foreign country and relying solely on your spouse for company and communication will get old very soon.... It really pained me to hear my ex-partner say "I hate Poland" on one of our trips there... He had thought everyone would be obliged to communicate with him in *his* mother tongue - the mighty English which he was sure all Polish kids had learned at school - but alas, it's THEIR country and he's the stranger there...

I understand that and it's a great point. We have the technology to learn a new language quickly, I've used it for Russian and I do remember some Spanish from my high school days. I bought the CD's to learn Russian and Spanish might be easier because they don't use the Cyrillic alphabet. Not sure I would want to live in Poland but I would make the effort to learn the language.

Hmm, seeing I'm 60 and old enough to retire and contemplating in a foreign country, I'd sell all my shit tomorrow if the real estate market here wasn't in the crapper. You can't fall in love at least deeply enough by correspondence, you have to spend time together, yes more than a week more than a month.

I went for k-1 visa for a gal from Ukraine and yes it takes six months and if you marry and then try to come here it is a violation of the immigration laws and jeapardizes a green card and being able to stay without sanctions against you for not taking the proper steps to begin with. My lady friend was unaffordable to me and had I to give up on her as she refused to change her attitude about her needs even though i explained I couldn't nor wouldn't pay for her extravagance.

I would just as soon sell all my things and be free to travel and if the right person came into my life, I would live in her country for a while but prefer a warm climate. I've set myself up for five sources of income when i pull the plug and can live where ever I choose. I'd much rather it be with someone I love than be alone at this stage of my life. But the catch all, never say never

Met a red head on line quite a bit younger. we met for wine and after two glasses I told her she should watch how much she drank as she weighed 100 pounds, she became angry and wanted to be alone

Next day she calls and apologizes, we meet agin shop ha;f a day and she wants to buy me a friendship ring. Okay, I went and had coffee, about three cups. She was no where to be found. I called her cell and she was in a bar drunk.

Should I go on.

I helped her move as she was evicted from her place. we lost touch

About six months later she calls and wants to come for a few days at my house. Well it was fine until one day three or four days later she came home drunk from the club house. I was working on my sprinlers and had a screw driver in my hand. I playfully touched it to her belly which was exposed and she went loonie tunes. Took the screw driver from me and tried to stab me. Fortunatley I was bigger and stronger and put her at bay.

She then went into the house and locked the door, I had a key. I went in and she was throwing a fit, threw her shoes at me and then my portable phone.

I called the local security force meanwhile grabbing her and tossing her out of my house. She was not having any of this. Just as the security people arrived, she took her shoe and bashed out the window in my car. They were going to take her to jail for attempted assault or murder. After four hours she calmed down and spent the night. I then had her escorted out of the community.

There is more to the story, suffice it to say, I was very tolerant of a sick person and she eventually showed up again and stole several items from my house. Tha't the last i want to see of her.

Beat that one!!!!

Been there done that and after 911 i would go even at my age. You have some cowards flying jets into our buildings killing over 3000 innocent people, hell yes i would go just to put a bullet between the eyes of one of those extremist mother f_kers. I'd torture there sorry asses you bet and yes i am still pissed about 911 and never will give those c_-ck suckers a chance around me. They very well could bring the worst out of me with my PTSD. I hope none of those sorry assholes ever gets the chance to mess with me. I was trained to kill with my bare hands and i God damn well would do it if one of those butt holes ever acted up on a plane i was on. Yes that's how i really feel.

if you dislike it here that much why don't you just........ off !

I like tormenting you and i didn't solicit your opinion if I am hot or not, I'm not trying to get into your panties, you don't pay my bills and certainly don't sleep with me. My comments about you so called experts about what men are going through, ha, i don't own a fancy sports car and certainly wouldn't expect to find a woman based upon the car I drive and if that's the criteria women use to choose their mates, I feel for them.

My hair is thinning and I would just as soon shave my head so all these ideas about what we do and don't do are baseless comments. I never said anything about your looks just women my age, and I'll stand by my findings, sure there are the exceptions and i realize that but it sure makes for slim pickings now doesn't it.

Back atcha
