Yes it is tough, but try being 60 and starting all over. You get hit on by guys half your age. Although its a turn on, who wants children again if you know what I mean. Just want someone that can be honest, loving and treat a woman like a woman and not some cheap hooker. Just because your ex didn't treat you good or was no longer interested, give us other women a break. We aren't all bitches. After all we went through all the same disappointments.

DMP its not easy out there. Many are game players and you need to be careful. Find some social events going on in your neighborhood or church gatherings. Join some clubs that go on outings. Just hang in there and you will start to enjoy life again. Just takes some getting used to. The hell with your so called friends that dumped you too. If they were real friends they would have stuck by you or at least kept in touch. Been there myself. In fact heard from an old girlfriend after 30 years. It hurt rehashing memories but in the end I told her how I felt about losing our friendship. Being true friends had nothing to do with a divorce. She apologized but the damage had already been done. Can't go back especially after 30 yrs.

Don't settle on anyone to fill in the void. Thats the wrong thing to do and you will feel sorry in the end. Know what you want and go after it. Stand your ground and don't take anything less. You will still make mistakes along the way but stay true to yourself. In the long run you will win and be stronger for it. Good Luck.
